Notre voyage au Népal s’est parfaitement déroulé conformément au programme que nous avions établi avec votre agence. Dès notre arrivée, la prise en charge a été irréprochable. En effet, l’itinéraire choisi pour notre Annapurna Base Camp Trek s’est avéré à la fois équilibré et spectaculaire. De plus, les paysages grandioses des Annapurnas ont totalement dépassé nos attentes.

Par ailleurs, les différents guides qui nous ont accompagnés tout au long de cette aventure étaient particulièrement compétents et disponibles. Non seulement ils maîtrisaient parfaitement le terrain, mais ils étaient aussi toujours prêts à répondre à nos questions ou à faciliter notre séjour au quotidien. Grâce à leur professionnalisme, nous nous sommes sentis en parfaite sécurité, même durant les étapes de marche les plus exigeantes.

wir sind schon wieder 3 Wochen zurück aus dem Himalaya, und jetzt erst melden wir uns als hochbegeisterte Nepal-Reisende.Die Begeisterung rührt nicht nur von den unvergesslichen und positiven Eindrücken im Land (Landschaft, Klimazonen, Menschen, Tiere, Essen, vielfältige Kulturen etc.), sondern vor allem auch durch Ihre hervorragende Organisation der Rundreise, für die wir Ihnen unsere Anerkennung und Kompliment für Ihre Kompetenz und Professionalität auf diesem Weg aussprechen möchten. Sie haben uns mit der Rundreise einen vielfältigen Überblick über das Land ermöglicht.

Es hat alles geklappt, sowohl bei den Inlandsflügen, die Abholung von den Flughäfen, die Transfers, die Abholung von den Hotels zu den Ausflügen, die stets mit sehr kompetenten und mit großem Wissen ausgestatteten Führern geleitet wurden. Leider hat das Wetter nicht immer mitgespielt.
Alle Unterkünfte waren sehr gut, aufmerksames Personal, sehr gutes Essen und saubere Zimmer und Bäder.

Wir waren von dieser Exzellenten Rundreise, der Zusammenstellung der einzelnen Zielpunkte ganz einfach ungemein fasziniert. Daher werden wir Sie und Ihr Team selbstverständlich wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

In December 2017 and January 2018, the two of us completed a 13-day trek in the Langtang Valley, Gosainkunda, and Helambu regions of Nepal. We booked this trip with A One Nepal Trek, and the service provided—from the moment we contacted Mr. Rajendra by email with our enquiries to our final drop-off at the airport—was excellent in every way.

We were picked up at the airport by Mr. Rajendra and taken to our hotel. The next day, he met with us to review our paperwork and itinerary, hand over our sleeping bags and gear, and answer all our questions. His professionalism right from the start made us feel completely at ease. Over the next 13 days, we quickly realized how knowledgeable Mr. Rajendra is, drawing from over 20 years of experience in the trekking industry across Nepal and Tibet.

Since our trek took place in winter (outside peak season), we were fortunate to have Mr. Rajendra as our guide alongside Mr. Mangal as our porter. Nothing was ever too much trouble for either of them. We chose a jeep to travel to the trek start at Syabrubesi, which proved to be a great decision on the rough roads compared to the local bus.

Langtang Valley & Kyanjin Gumba

The scenery and culture during our 3-day trek to Kyanjin Gumba were fascinating. The tea houses were welcoming and comfortable, and we really enjoyed connecting with our hosts. The sleeping bags supplied by A One Nepal Trek were rated to -20°C and in great condition, with extra blankets available at the tea houses if needed. Meals were high-quality, offering a varied selection of both Western and Nepalese food. We also discovered Masala tea and couldn’t get enough of it!

On our fourth day—a rest day at Kyanjin Gumba—Mr. Rajendra and Mr. Mangal guided us up Tsergo Ri (4,984 m). This was a major highlight, offering sweeping views of snow-capped peaks stretching into Tibet. The return journey down the Langtang Valley was just as enjoyable, providing a fresh perspective on the landscape, local villages, yaks, horses, and even monkeys on our first day.

Gosainkunda Lakes & Lauribina Pass

While the main Langtang track had other trekkers, the route toward Gosainkunda was wonderfully quiet, giving us the trails and tea houses to ourselves. As we climbed toward Laurebina and Gosainkunda, temperatures dropped, but the views were incredible.

We spent half a day enjoying the frozen sacred lakes of Gosainkunda before crossing the Lauribina Pass (4,610 m) the following day. The high altitude made walking challenging, but surrounded by pristine snow and ice, the views were worth every step.

Helambu Region to Kathmandu

Entering the Helambu region, we enjoyed breathtaking views south over the foothills. We spent the night at Thadepati on a high ridge, enjoying warm hospitality around the kitchen fire while our hosts prepared dinner.

Over the next two and a half days, we trekked through foothill villages where rebuilding was still underway following the 2015 earthquake. Our final day was a peaceful downhill walk through Shivapuri National Park to Sundarijal, followed by a short one-hour drive back to Kathmandu.

Final Thoughts

This was an amazing trip of a lifetime. Mr. Rajendra’s excellent English and deep expertise made our holiday safe, smooth, and memorable. Both Mr. Rajendra and Mr. Mangal showed outstanding commitment to our well-being throughout the entire journey.

This Methee Duangron is my first time visiting Nepal, and it was such a wonderful trip! It was completely different from any other country I have ever visited.

Kathmandu, the capital city, sits beautifully among the valley, filled with many stunning Hindu and Buddhist temples. I tried the local liquor—it was very strong, but I really liked it! I also thoroughly enjoyed the local food, especially dishes with buff (water buffalo) and beans.

On the first day of my trek, I saw so many mountains. The views were good, even though the sky was a bit foggy, and it was very cold at night. When I woke up early the next morning—OMG—the sky had completely cleared! There was a massive snow-capped mountain right in front of me, which was absolutely awesome.

We kept trekking until we reached the lodge that serves as the base for the Trek to Poon Hill. The view of the snow-capped mountains directly from my room was perfect! In the morning, we trekked up to Poon Hill and enjoyed watching the first rays of sunlight shine over the Annapurna range. I was completely blown away.

After Poon Hill, we trekked to Ghandruk, passing through incredible mountain landscapes. When I looked back from the top of the trail, I couldn’t believe how far we had walked past those massive peaks!

My guide, Sudip, took such good care of me and became a great friend. Thank you for a fabulous trip in Nepal! I am definitely looking forward to returning, and my next trek will surely be Annapurna Base Camp (ABC)!

Mr Rajendra lives in Kathmandu. He has been a porter and guide for many years and has extensive experience of the Annapurna, Everest and Lang tang regions. He speaks excellent English. Although, knows all about the routes, timings, altitude, informative link to the nature, wildlife and local people. He can arrange treks, porters, kit hire, permits, accommodation and transport for small or large groups.

RaJ is probably the nicest man we have ever met! A friend put us in touch who had enjoyed trekking with him recently. When we arrived at Kathmandu, he met us, sorted our accommodation, transport, permits, kit hire and organized a welcome meal to get to know each other and discuss the route. Over the 11 days trek he was always cheerful, helpful, advised us about the timings, the altitude, helped with food and accommodation, was informative about the nature and wildlife we saw and interacted so nicely with everyone we met.

Basically, the whole trip was a pleasure and we could just relax, enjoy the views and keep walking! Rajendra! Deserves to always be busy with treks, he is a great advert for Nepal and we would highly recommend him to anyone. His fees are also very reasonable as per your concerning.

Thanks to him for a great ABC trek – We have done it!

Lum Blum and Family: My wife Hong Lee and All we truly thank you very much for your services and planning during the EBC trekking and for giving us excellent and almost royal treatment and for making us feel like part of your family.

Timing: Within a very short period of time, you are able to cater for us all, elderly with some injuries so that we are able to enjoy fully the really picturesque journey during the whole trekking period. Your daily planning and great sense of timing have enabled our group to be divided into 2 groups depending on speed and capability so that both sections fully enjoy the trekking at own pace and reaching all the desired destinations and stops within time. As a nature photographer, I thank your patience and allowing and encouraging me to document the wonderful fauna and flora along the way.

Internal Flight: The flight from Katmandu to Lukla airport which is considered the highest and most dangerous airport in the world was most memorable and exciting. Your ability to book the first flights in and out of Lukla boosts our confidence that everything was within time and schedule. Even so, 2 days before we flew out, all flights were cancelled due to uncertain weather but luck and blessings were with us throughout.

Information: Your many years of experience in Nepal shows in the ability to give good, accurate information on many topics raised during the trekking. You are able to engage us in useful conversations and your great sense of humor really entertained us especially during some days of long and high altitude trekking.

Food: We truly enjoyed all the traditional Nepalese meals and the Dal Baht is not only nutritious and healthy but taste great. The daily Garlic soup probably helps us from developing high altitude symptoms. Your choice of rest houses giving great clean food and warm stay really made each day memorable and restful. This is our third trip to Nepal and the first time none of our group members came down with gastro-enteritis.

Porters: We are very grateful to our porters who not just carried our bags with such care but also went out of the way to accompany us on the last leg of EBC trek. We appreciate that after carrying our stuff, they even come back to help us in slippery, wet and dark conditions.

Recommend: We highly recommend A One Nepal Trek Company and all of staff are perfectly superb team for well organized. Please, join with them wherever for your an amazing time in Nepal.
