Mani Rimdu is the biggest festival of Local Sherpa people of the Khumbu region. Nepal is known as the country of festivals more than a day a year. There are 70 different ethnic groups of people in the all-region. Each of them has its own festival. People of the Everest region celebrate almost all festivals. It is a Buddhist festival. People are mostly related to Tibetan culture and tradition. So most of the people over here celebrate this festival in Tibetan style which is another benefit of getting knowledge of Tibetan culture in this trekking.

The Mani Rimdu Festival Trek is a fascinating festival inland of Himalaya. This festival is observed every year. The date is fixed according to the Lunar calendar usually occurring in November. Tengboche (the world’s highest monastery) in the Solukhumbu district is the main point of celebrating this festival. People do various masked dances which are the significance of the Mani Rimdu festival. The main attraction of this trekking is to observe the festival with the local people. It is celebrated for three days. In these three days, we will be the self-witness how interesting is this festival. Another attraction of this trekking is the beauty around Namche Bazaar (capital of Sherpa land). This is how local Sherpa people celebrated the Mani Rimdu festival in the Everest region. When is Mani Rimdu for the year 2022?
The date of the Mani Rimdu festival is fixed according to the Tibetan Lunar calendar. The head lama at the Tyangboche Monastery announces the dates. In Tengboche, the Mani Rimdu is performed in the 9th Tibetan month which usually falls in November full-moon. Mani Rimdu Festival date for the year 2022 is celebrated on 7th, 8th, and 9th November 2022.

Day 01:01Nov: Kathmandu Arrival and shift-in to the Hotel.

After landing your flight at TIA, a representative of A One Nepal Trek will heartily welcome you to Nepal. Upon your arrival, we will directly shift you toward booked Hotel. You will have interaction with our guide for the discussion of Everest Mani Rimdu festival trekking with delicious dinner. (Service include: Airport pick up+ Hotel with bb plan)

Day 02:02 Nov: Sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley.

Today we will spend our first day of Nepal sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley. Pashupatinath, the holiest temple of Lord Shiva, Bauddhanath (Little Tibet), and Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) will be our main sightseeing destination. After that, we will enter Basantpur Durbar Square and return back to the hotel and make preparation for trekking.(Service include:Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner+Local lodge+Guide+ Porter)

Day 03: 03 Nov: Kathmandu to Lukla (2804m) and trek to Phakding (2610m) – 3 Hours

We will take an early morning mountain flight to Lukla. View of great ranges of the mountain of snow-capped from the top will be so much mesmerizing. After reaching Lukla, we will take a bag and trek to Phakding. We will walk through the main route. Day 04:04 Nov: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3441m) – 5 Hours

In the cool morning, we will delicious breakfast and continue our trek toward Namche Bazaar. The route of Dudh Koshi River will be our main walking trail. Unbelievable natural beauty after entering the area of Sagarmatha national park will be so much interesting. Day 05:05 nd Nov: Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar

Today we will spend our whole day accumulating at Namche Bazaar. Beautiful places over Namche Bazaar are visited in our leisure time. The knowledge of the unique culture & tradition of local people living in Namche Bazaar can be observed. Day 06:06rd Nov: Namche to Tengboche Monastery (3860m) – 5 Hours

Early morning our journey leads toward Tengboche 3800m. The view of the beautiful view of the mountain ranges will be so much impressive. In this way, we will finally reach Tengboche by walking slowly and resting in many places. On reaching Tengboche, we will spend leisure time visiting the places of Tengboche.(Service include:Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner+Local lodge+Guide+ Porter)

Day 7 – 10: Date: 7th,8th, and 9th November: Observe the festival at Tengboche monastery.

The coming three days is the main day of our whole trekking. In these three days, we will be a part of the festival. We will follow the tradition & culture of the local people. It will be so much interesting for us to do whatever local people tell us to do. The way people celebrate the festival is amazing but it will be full of enjoyment. Day 10: 10 nov: Tengboche to Namche Bazaar.

From Tengboche, our returning journey starts downward to Namche Bazar. We will return back in the same way. We will see whatever we have seen before but from a different angle. Day 11:11 Nov: Namche Bazaar to Lukla.

Today is the easiest walk on our whole trek. We need to walk for just a few hours. We will reach Lukla at our lunchtime. After having lunch we will Rome around the places over Lukla. After roaming around the Lukla we will return back to our hotel for confirmation of our tomorrow’s flight.(Service include:Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner+Local lodge+Guide+ Porter)

Day 12:12 Nov: Fly back to Kathmandu.

We will take an early morning mountain flight to Kathmandu. View of great ranges of the mountain of snow-capped from the top will be so much mesmerizing. After reaching Kathmandu, we will be shifted to our hotel. Then we will be fresh and spend our leisure time visiting the colorful area of Thamel. (Service include: Breakfast+Flight with guide+Hotel)

Day 13:13 Nov: Farewell.

Spending last night in Nepal, you will be given a small kind of farewell program with the team of A One Nepal Trek. We will depart you at the airport before your flight. We will wish you a safe journey and hope to have good relationships with us. (Service include: Breakfast+Airport drop).

TREK HIGHLIGHTS:

Everest base camp trek is the best popular trekking part of Nepal. Based on good Tea-house stay as a familiar atmosphere with local people/Deluxe business hotels are available at most of the trekking part. SAFETY – HEALTH- FACILITY:

Our first goal is “first safety” for all of our clients and staff. We have a smartly experienced friendly and knowledgeable workers team. All they are well trained and must of they are license holder Guides. We arrange first aid. Also, the area has a health post every 2 days, and the main hospital is not farther than the maximum of 5 hrs, from any part. We can use a quick drive on the rough road, carried by the people, take a horse ride, and arrange the Helicopter at our needed as per the emergency encase. The physical walk is 6 hours on average per day with a mini bag with your valued things average 2-5 kg. but 2 days is shorter.

YOUR PERSONAL TRAVEL INSURANCE:

We highly advised you to make your travel insurance during the Nepal trip from your own country. It is a condition upon joining any of our trips that all clients be insured for comprehensive expenses that might incur due to medical issues or accidents (this includes air ambulance, helicopter rescue, and treatment costs). we don’t arrange or sell insurance.

TEAHOUSE LOCAL LODGE DURING THE TREK:

All accommodations for Langtang Valley Trek are on a twin-sharing basis included in the trip cost and are chosen based on the standard of hygiene, standard, and clean of tourist standard available. There are mostly shame styles of accommodations during our trekking. All the lodging and meal costs have been controlled by the management community in the area.

MEALS AND WATER:

During our Trek, we can enjoy typical Nepali food, different ethnic cuisines, as well as all types of international cuisine (Tibetan, Continental, Italian, and Indian.), which are from the menu as per local supplement. Lodge has a well-trained cook basically attention to clean, hygienic, fresh, and nice testy foods. We can even enjoy hot chocolates, a variety of bread, a variety of drinks, and snacks. You could have been able to buy Bottled water from every settlement. Even we would like to support you to pay for local purifying water cheaper with that’s help to controlled plastic pollution. Also, boiled water or running fresh water with your peals or filtering is much recommended.

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU:

Raincoat, bag cover, round sun hat. Half paint for rain, waterproof walking boot, Suntan lotion, sunglass, light waterproof gore tax set, a pair of sleepers, some t-shirt, If you have your private light sleeping bag/If Not we will provide, walking stick, your regular drug and necessary you things.

ENVIRONMENTAL SENSITIVE:

The Langtang region is stunningly beautiful but equally fragile. Future generations have just as much of a right to appreciate it as we do. Hence, the tourism industry has an obligation to protect and preserve it. We are considering a ‘zero impact’ policy on the natural environment and the traditional communities that live in the traveled places. We enforce a number of dos and don’ts. We also work alongside “KEEP” in order to maintain our environmental concerns.
