Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival to Kathmandu

Upon your arrival at Kathmandu at TIA, a representative of A One Nepal Trek will warmly welcome you to Nepal. She/he will guide you towards the hotel room of Nepal. The day can be either rest day or some sightseeing day of Kathmandu. The night will be at the hotel by discussing about the tour and enjoying the delicious dinner.

Day 02:  Kathmandu to Suketar

Early morning, we will have our hot breakfast at the best hotel of Kathmandu and then we will forward towards the airport to catch the flight over to Suketar. The flight takes for several hours to reach to Suketar from Kathmandu. After getting off the flight we will visit around the Suketar for a while and the night will be resting at Suketar.

Day 03: Suketar to Mitlung

From Suketar, we will kick off our trekking. We will trek towards the Mitlung which passes through the beautiful valley and through the beautiful pasture lands. We then follow the way towards the Hangdewa River and through the rural landscapes of the region. We will trek for about 4 to 5 hours from Suketar to Mitlung at 921m to spend the night.

Day 04: Mitlung to Chirwa

From Mitlung, we will follow the descending way to the village of Sinwa. The way goes ups and downs. We shouldn’t stop ourselves until we reach at Tawa. Then the way goes a little steep to cross the suspension bridge at Thiwa.  The route passes through the beautiful landscapes along the way to Chirwa.  Chirwa is a beautiful village of Limbu community with several lodges and tea shops around. We will stop at Chirwa for the night.

Day 05: Chirwa to Sukathum

From Chirwa, we trek towards the Sukathum after crossing the several passes and cardamom fields with some dense forest. We then trek uphill towards the lush green forest to Tamor River. We have to follow the up and down hill track until we reach to Ghunsa river and then to the Sukathum to stay for the night.

Day 06: Sukathum to Amjilosa

The trekking route from Sukathum to Amjilosa is regarded a bit challenging and rough. We need to cross the suspension bridge which is outside of the Sukathum village. Then the trail passes through the dense forest and through the ascending and descending trail. We pass through the Solima village. We will be busy to follow the main trail until we reach to Amjilosa to stay for the night.

Day 07: Amjilosa to Gyabla

From Amjilosa, we will trek towards the river bank and through the dense forest of bamboo, fir and rhododendron. We then climb uphill crossing several small bridges along the way. During the trail, we will enjoy the dramatic waterfalls which are originated from the mountains. We will continue until we reach to Gyabla with a trekking of about 6 to 7 hours.

Day 08: Gyabla to Ghunsa

From Gyabla, the trek goes towards the Ghunsa through the river to the valley. Then we will reach at Phale, a Tibetan refugee settlement. We can purchase some of the beautiful creation of human beings here. Then we enter through the forest of pine and conifer to reach the village of Ghunsa. Ghunsa is a beautiful village of Sherpa people. We can see a hydroelectricity plant at this region. Ghunsa is at the altitude of 3595m above sea level.

Day 09: Ghunsa to Kambachen

From Ghunsa viewing the beautiful scenery of great ranges of mountains, we will walk through the river bank to Kambachen. The route goes through the beautiful meadows full with beautiful flowers of different types and pine forest. We need to cross the bridge of Rampuk Kharka viewing some glorious view of beautiful waterfalls and landscapes as well. Further continuing our way will leads us to Kambachen at 4050m.

Day 10: Kambachen to Lhonak

The trail from Kambachen to Lhonak is a bit tougher as it goes through the high altitude. We have to acclimatize ourselves during the whole trek at this part of the land. We need to cross the bridge of Ramtang monastery. We should follow the descending path to reach to Lhonak after the trekking of about 6 to 7 hours.

Day 11: Lhonak to Kanchenjunga north base camp

From Lhonak, viewing the Kanchenjunga Mountain above us, we will continue our trail following the Kanchenjunga glaciers. The night will be at tented camp at the Kanchenjunga base camp. We have to be very careful while walking at this region due to the possibilities of landslide and some ice slide also. From the base camp a little higher point will offers its visitors with the most panoramic view of that region.

Day 12 to Day 32: Climbing period

From the base camp of the mountain, we will trek to the higher potion of Kanchenjunga Mountain. We will trek further following the giant landscapes of mountain with the crew members. We will follow the main trail to the summit through the main trail. E will get the most beautiful view from the summit. We will return through the same way back to the base camp through the same way.

Day 33: Back to Kambachen

From the base camp of Kanchenjunga, we will march towards the Kambachen following the same trail. We all will be in glorious mood to trek as we know that we have achieved our dream.  We will return to the Kambachen to stay the night.

Day 34: Kambachen to Ghunsa

From the Kambachen, we will trek further downwards to the beautiful region of Ghunsa. The trekking route offers us any glittering view of mountains and surrounding area which will mesmerizes us every moments. We will be back to Ghunsa for the night.

Day 35: Ghunsa to Gyabla

From the Ghunsa, we will make a quick attempt to Gyabla. As the trekking route goes mostly downwards, the walking will be long and enjoyable but not tiresome. The night will be at Gyabla.

Day 36: Gyabla to Amjilosa

From Gyabla, we will trek down to Amjilosa. We will be trekking through the beautiful trail which will enables us to enjoy the natural beauty of the trail. The trekking to Amjilosa will be interesting anyway. We will view the surrounding view in a relaxing mode. The night will be at Amjilosa.

Day 37: Amjilosa to Sukathum

From Amjilosa, after having the breakfast, we will trek further to the beautiful region of Sukathum. The trekking will be interesting interacting with the people. The trekking goes through the same way  which we have taken while climbing. Therefore, the view of the surrounding will not amazed us but only entertains us. The night will be undoubtedly at Sukathum.

Day 38: Trek to Chirwa

After spending a night at Sukathum, we will march towards the down land of Chirwa. The trekking goes for several hours in the down trail which will be relatively easier. The trek goes until we reach at Chirwa. The night will be at Chirwa enjoying with friends.

Day 39: Chirwa to Mitlung

From Chirwa, a returning journey of several hours will enhances us to reach to the area of Mitlung. The trekking route will be interesting.  We will take rest at different points to take our lunch and to re-energize ourselves. The night will be resting at Mitlung.

Day 40: Mitlung to Suketar

Resting at different points, we will continue our journey to Suketar. We will walk for several hours to complete our objectives to reach at Suketar. We will be mesmerized by the glorious view of the route while making our journey. The night will be at one of the hotel of Suketar.

Day 41: Suketar to Kathmandu

From Suketar, we will drive back to Kathmandu. We will enjoy the early morning breakfast at the hotel of Suketar and will continue to drive towards the Kathmandu. The drive goes for about 7 to 8 hours. The route will offers us many beautiful view of the surrounding. The night will be at Kathmandu.

Day 42: Farewell

After having a relaxing night at Kathmandu, finally, the day of returning back to our home country and busy schedule has come with the ending of our glittering tour over to the highlands of Nepal. A One Nepal Trek will organize a small farewell program at the airport and will help for any inconvenience that may arise during the departure.  We wish for your better journey ahead.

Safety – Health- facility:

Our first goal is “first safety” for all of our clients and staff. We have smartly experienced friendly and knowledge able workers team. All they are well trained and must of they are license holder Guides. We arrange first aid. Also the area has heath post on every 2 days, and main hospital is not farther than maximum 5 hrs, from any part. We can use a quick drive on ruff road, carry by the people, take a horse ride, and arrange the Helicopter at our needed as per the emergency encase. The physical walk is 6 hours average per day with mini bag with your valued things average 2-5 kg. but 2 days is shorter.

Your Personal Travel Insurance:

We highly advised you to make your travel insurance during Nepal trip from your own country. It is a condition upon joining any of our trips that all clients be insured for comprehensive expenses that might incur due to medical issues or accidents (this includes air ambulance, helicopter rescue, and treatment costs).we don’t arrange or sell insurance.

Tea house Local lodge during the Trek:

All accommodations for Ghorepani-Poon hill Trek are on twin sharing basis included in the trip cost and are chosen based on standard of hygiene, standard and clean of tourist standard available. There are mostly shame styles of accommodations during our trekking. And very some of place has limits of Attach bath room as your own payment. All the lodging and meal cost has controlled by management community at in area.

Meals and Water:

During our Trek, we can enjoy typical Nepali food, different ethnic cuisines as well as all types of international cuisine (Tibetan, Continental, Italian, and Indian.) are from the menu as per local supplement. Lodge has well trained cook basically attention for clean, hygienic, fresh and nice testy foods. We can even enjoy hot chocolates, variety of breads, variety of drinks, and snacks. You could have able to buy Bottled water from every settlement. Even we would like to support you to pay for local purifying water cheaper with that’s help to controlled plastic pollution. Also the boiled water, or running fresh water with your peals or filtering is much recommended.

What to bring with you:

Raincoat, bag cover, round sun hat. Half paint for rain, waterproof waking boot, Suntan lotion, sunglass, light waterproof gore tax set, a pair of sleepers, some t-shirt, If you have your private light sleeping bag/If Not we will provide, walking stick, your regular drug and necessary you things.

Environmental sensitive:

The Annapurna region is stunningly beautiful, but equally fragile. Future generations have just as much of a right to appreciate it as we do. Hence, the tourism industry has an obligation to protect and preserve it. We are consideration a ‘zero impact’ policy on the natural environment and the traditional communities that live at the traveled places. We enforce a number of do’s and don’ts. We also work alongside “KEEP” in order to maintain our environmental concerns.

Best Season: We are Sure Ghorepani-Poon hill trek for all Season. Even Sep to Dec and Feb to Apr is best.

Let us advice as per your choice. 5 stars hotels are in Kathmandu: Hyatt regency, Yak &Yeti, De’l Annapurna, The Everest Hotel, The Malla hotel, and others 4,3, 2,1 stars hotels: 5 stars hotel in Pokhara: Phulbari resort. And others standard hotels: Fishtail lodge, Meera Hotel.

Booking Policy:

Confirm your trip at least two months before, with 25% of payment and a copy of your passport. One group leader or agent will be free of service charge above 12 of paying person in a group.[tax, flight and monuments fee is not free.
