Ghale Gaun Trekking is one of the newly opened but beautiful trekking routes of Nepal which covers the most part of the Annapurna trekking region. The trekking route passes through the beautiful Ghale Gaun offering some spectacular view majestic mountain ranges like Mt.Machhapuchhre (6,696m), Mt.Annapurna (8,091m), Mt. Annapurna II (7,939m), Mt. Annapurna IV (7,525m). Lamjung Himal, Buddha Himal, Himalchuli and another numerous number of white snow-covered mountains.The Ghale Gaun route, which will offer its visitors the opportunity to enjoy the natural and cultural part of the beautiful village also several forests of different vegetation, awesome waterfalls, beautiful valley and many other eye-catching scenarios. Annapurna Ghale Gaun trekking begins with a drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar, which goes for about 6 to 7 hours. Then the trail will follow the way following the river of Khudi, Marsyangdi and Midim to Ghale Gaun with some exploring day around the village. The trekking route will return back to the way from Baghungpani, Laxmi bazaar and through the beautiful Begnas Lake to Pokhara valley. The trekking to Ghale Gaun trekking is regarded as one of the easy and moderate trekking. Generally, the time of November, March, and April is regarded as the best season of trekking in this region. Although, according to the desire of trekkers, A One Nepal Trek will arrange the procedures of trekking throughout the year with some better provision of better guides and experts help.

Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu.

Upon your arrival at Kathmandu at TIA, a representative of A One Nepal Trek will warmly welcome you to Nepal. She/he will guide you towards the hotel room of Nepal. The day can be either rest or some sightseeing day in Kathmandu. The night will be at the hotel by discussing the tour and enjoying the delicious dinner.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Besisahar.

At Kathmandu, we will start our day by having a refreshing breakfast and then we will move towards the bus stop to catch the bus to Besisahar. The road drive goes about 9 to 10 hours long. After the long and exhausting travel from the bus, we will drop at Besisahar. The night will be at one of the best hotels in Besisahar. We can explore the market of Besisahar by chatting with the helpful people of the locality. (Service includes: Bus drive+ Guide+Porter+Breakfast+Hotel)

Day 03: Besisahar to Khudi village.

From Besisahar, we need to cross the suspension bridges to enter the largest trading village of Khudi which is inhabited by Gurung people. Following the path through the bank of the Khudi River, we will pass several waterfalls and villages. Then the trail will climb for about 4 to 5 hours viewing the Annapurna and Manaslu. The night will be enchanting at the Khudi villages enjoying the cultural programs. (Service includes: Guide+Porter +Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner+local lodge)

Day 04: Khudi to Bhujung.

After enjoying the night at Khudi, the trek will continue forwards to the Bhujung. We will visit the Ghanpokhara village before descending to Bhujung. The trail will be interesting as it passes through the beautiful forest of rhododendron along with some glorious waterfalls. The trail will ultimately guide us to Bhujung village which is the largest and traditional village of the Gurung community of that locality.(Service includes: Guide+Porter +Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner+local lodge)

Day 05: Bhujung to Pasgaun.

From Bhujung, we will re-cross the Midim River through the suspension bridge. Then, we begin the 3 to 4-hour climb over to the steep lands to Khumre Danda at 2000m before descending to Pasgaun. We can enjoy the evening by visiting the Buddhists Gompa and watching some of the traditional dances and songs of Gurung culture at Pasgaun.(Service includes: Guide+Porter +Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner+local lodge)

Day 06: Trek to Rudi.

From Pasgaun, the trail will begin to follow the steep trail to Rudi stream which we will cross and follow the main trail for about one hour. The climbing way will reward us with the glorious view of great mountain ranges like Annapurna and Manaslu Mountain.(Service includes: Guide+Porter +Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner+local lodge)

Day 07: Trek to Thurmikot and drive to Pokhara.

From Rudi, the trail will further descend towards the Thurmikot for about 2 to 3 hours following the Mardi Khola. The trail will offer us a beautiful picture of the surrounding with the combination of green forest and ever-flowing water resources. From Thurmont, a drive of about 2 to 3 hours will be enough for the completion of our next objective of the day. The night will be at Pokhara.(Service includes: Guide+Porter +Breakfast+Drive+ Hotel)

Day 08: Pokhara to Kathmandu.

We will wake up early in the morning with the dazzling view of the sun rising through the summit piercing the white snows. We will have a short visit over to the market around Pokhara and will take a drive back to Kathmandu. The drive goes for about 7 to 8 hours. The night will be relaxing in Kathmandu.(Service includes: Guide+Porter +Breakfast+Drive+ Hotel)

Day 09: Farewell.

Finally, the day of returning back to our home country and busy schedule has come with the ending of our glittering tour over to the highlands of Nepal. A One Nepal Trek will organize a small farewell program at the airport and will help with any inconvenience that may arise during the departure. We wish you a better journey ahead. TREK HIGHLIGHTS:

One of the popular shore easy trek of Nepal. Rich in nature with 3 major peaks [Mt Dhaulagiri 8,167m, Mt Annapurna I 8,091m, Mt Manaslu 8,163m] and several beautiful peaks. Heavy colorful forest with a variety of flora & fauna. Charming mingle society of people with a unique culture, religion, and seasonal harvesting. Clean running humming waterfalls and streams.

SAFETY – HEALTH- FACILITY:

Our first goal is “first safety” for all of our clients and staff. We have a smartly experienced friendly and knowledgeable workers team. All they are well trained and must of they are license holder Guides. We arrange first aid. Also, the area has a health post every 2 days, and the main hospital is not farther than the maximum of 5 hrs, from any part. We can use a quick drive on the rough road, carried by the people, take a horse ride, and arrange the Helicopter at our needed as per the emergency encase. The physical walk is 6 hours on average per day with a mini bag with your valued things average 2-5 kg.

YOUR PERSONAL TRAVEL INSURANCE:

We highly advised you to make your travel insurance during the Nepal trip from your own country. It is a condition upon joining any of our trips that all clients be insured for comprehensive expenses that might incur due to medical issues or accidents (this includes air ambulance, helicopter rescue, and treatment costs). we don’t arrange or sell insurance.

TEAHOUSE LOCAL LODGE DURING THE TREK:

All accommodations for Ghale village Trek are on a twin sharing basis included in the trip cost and are chosen based on the standard of hygiene, standard, and clean of tourist standard available. There are mostly shame styles of accommodations during our trekking. All based on Homestay with culture as per the community. All the lodging and meal costs have been controlled by the management community in the area.

MEALS AND WATER:

During our Trek, we can enjoy typical Nepali food, different ethnic cuisines, as well as all types of international cuisine (Tibetan, Continental, Italian, and Indian.), which are from the menu as per local supplement. Lodge has a well-trained cook basically attention to clean, hygienic, fresh, and nice testy foods. We can even enjoy hot chocolates, a variety of bread, a variety of drinks, and snacks. You could have been able to buy Bottled water from every settlement. Even we would like to support you to pay for local purifying water cheaper with that’s help to controlled plastic pollution. Also, boiled water or running fresh water with your peals or filtering is much recommended.

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU:

Raincoat, bag cover, round sun hat. Half paint for rain, waterproof walking boot, Suntan lotion, sunglass, light waterproof gore tax set, a pair of sleepers, some t-shirt, If you have your private light sleeping bag/If Not we will provide, walking stick, your regular drug and necessary you things.

ENVIRONMENTAL SENSITIVE:

The Annapurna region is stunningly beautiful but equally fragile. Future generations have just as much of a right to appreciate it as we do. Hence, the tourism industry has an obligation to protect and preserve it. We are considering a ‘zero impact’ policy on the natural environment and the traditional communities that live in the traveled places. We also work alongside “KEEP” in order to maintain our environmental concerns.

We offer a 2-3 *label hotel with a BB plan. If you need a higher class please let us know as your extra payment.

BOOKING POLICY:

Confirm your trip at least two months before, with 25% of the payment and a copy of your passport. One group leader or agent will be free of service charge above 12 of paying the person in a group.[tax, flight, and monuments fee is not free.
