Among the different trekking routes of Nepal, the Helambu circuit trek is one. The trekking to Helambu will offer its visitors a tranquil environment along with a glittering view of mountain ranges of the Annapurna and Everest areas. The trekking area is very much closer to Kathmandu which ideal for those trekkers who are doing the trekking for the first time and don’t have experience. The trekking to this area is basically arranged for those trekkers who have a busy schedule in a day to day life and want to enjoy the limited holidays in the land of Himalayas glimpsing some glorious view of nature. This area is at a low elevation where we can glimpse the view of tall mountains with the interesting lifestyle of Sherpa village. Throughout the trekking area, we will meet different types of people which will help us to explore more about the trekking region along with the tradition of local Sherpa people.

The trekking to these lands begins from Sundarijal, we will commence our trekking to Helambu following the beautiful trekking route. The trail will follow the Chisapani through the Shivapuri watershed areas. These areas are not at high altitudes. So, the trekking to these areas is considered as the moderate trekking route of Nepal. The trekking to Helambu trekking area provides instant Himalayan trek to the passionate trekkers in limited time. The time of February, March, April, May, June, September, October, November, and December is regarded as the best season to trek in this area. A One Nepal Trek will arrange the trekking at these areas according to the holiday schedule of trekkers.

Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon your arrival at Kathmandu at TIA, a representative of A One Nepal Trek will warmly welcome you to Nepal. She/he will guide you towards the hotel room of Nepal. The day can be either a rest day or some sightseeing day in Kathmandu. The night will be at the hotel by discussing the tour and enjoying the delicious dinner. Day 02: Drive to Sundarijal and trek to Chisapani.2,140m.
After a drive for about 1 to 2 hours, we will reach the Sundarijal from where we will begin our trek to Chisapani. The path from Sundarijal to Chisapani will follow the pipeline of water supply to Kathmandu. After walking for a while, we will enter the Shivapuri watershed and wildlife reserve. The trail will continue to Mul Kharka and to Chisapani. The Chisapani is at an altitude of 2,140m.(Service Include:Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner+Guide+Porter+Local lodge)

Day 03: Chisapani to Gul Bhanjyang.
From Chisapani, we will continue our way to the main trail where we are unable to find the settlement of people around us. The trail will continue to Pati Bhanjyang and after passing through the beautiful trail dotted by some chortens and beautiful forest at its side, we reach finally the Gul Bhanjyang. The night will be interesting at Gul Bhanjyang.(Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner+Guide+Porter+Local lodge)

Day 04: Gul Bhanjyang to Tharepati.3,610 m.
From Gul Bhanjyang, after having the hot breakfast, we will trek towards the Tharepati. The trail goes steeply through the forest of pine and oak forest along with some excellent views of mountains. The trail will lead us towards the Magen Goth from where we can get a glimpse of Langtang and Gosainkunda. Following the steep way, we will reach Tharepati for the night.(Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner+ Local lodge+Guide+Porter)

Day 05: Tharepati to Melamchi Gaun.2,535m.
From Tharepati, a short but beautiful path through the forest of fir and rhododendron with some wildlife and bird singing the beautiful tune, we will move towards the Melamchi Gaun. Before reaching Melamchi, we will hear some pleasuring sound of water striking the rocks. The night will be definitely at Melamchi Gaun.(Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner+ Local lodge+Guide+Porter)

Day 06: Melamchi Gaun to Tarkeghyang.
From Melamchi, we will follow the way towards the Tarkeghyang to 2,560m. The trail goes steeply from the Melamchi Gaun to the valley where we can get a crystal clear view of the river along with the beautiful valley. We can see some traditional Gompas at Tarkeghyang. The night will be resting there.(Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner+ Local lodge+Guide+Porter)

Day 07: Tarkeghyang to Sermathang.
Early morning, we will resume our journey through the flat and easy path which will lead us to Sermathang. Tarkeghyang is one of the beautiful Sherpa villages of Nepal. The Sherpa people residing here introduce themselves as they are different from the Sherpa of the Khumbu region. If we are lucky then we can get a crystal clear view of Ganesh Himal, Langtang Himal, Gosainkunda village, and Rolwaling Mountain from the viewpoint. The night will be at Sermathang.(Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner+ Local lodge+Guide+Porter)

Day 08: Sermathang to Melamchi Bazaar and to Kathmandu
From Sermathang, we need to trek through the gradual steep path to Melamchi bazaar through the beautiful meadows and some cultivating areas. We need to pass through several old villages viewing some spectacular views of the mountain. The trekking will be interesting as we can interact with the local people. We will be at Melamchi Pul bazaar after a short walk. From Melamchi, we will drive back to Kathmandu and will relax the night in the hotel room of Kathmandu.(Breakfasr+Lunch+Drive+Hotel)

Day 09: Farewell
After having a relaxing night in Kathmandu. A One Nepal Trek will organize a small farewell program at the airport and will help with any inconvenience that may arise during the departure. We wish for your better journey ahead. (Service include: Breakfast+Airport drop)

TREK HIGHLIGHTS:

An easy trek of Nepal. Rich in nature with 4-5 major peaks [Mt. Ganesh Himal 7,422m, Mt Langtang 7,234m, Mt Annapurna I 8,091m, Mt Manaslu 8,163m] and several beautiful peaks. Heavy colorful forest with a variety of flora & fauna. Charming mingle society of people with the unique culture, religion, and seasonal harvesting. Clean running humming waterfalls and streams.

SAFETY – HEALTH- FACILITY:

Our first goal is “first safety” for all of our clients and staff. We have a smartly experienced friendly and knowledgeable workers team. All they are well trained and must of they are license holder Guides. We arrange first aid. Also, the area has a health post every 2 days, and the main hospital is not farther than the maximum of 5 hrs, from any part. We can use a quick drive on the rough road, carried by the people, take a horse ride, and arrange the Helicopter at our needed as per the emergency encase. The physical walk is 6 hours on average per day with a mini bag with your valued things average 2-5 kg. but 2 days is shorter.

YOUR PERSONAL TRAVEL INSURANCE:

We highly advised you to make your travel insurance during the Nepal trip from your own country. It is a condition upon joining any of our trips that all clients be insured for comprehensive expenses that might incur due to medical issues or accidents (this includes air ambulance, helicopter rescue, and treatment costs). we don’t arrange or sell insurance.

TEAHOUSE LOCAL LODGE DURING THE TREK:

All accommodations for Langtang Valley Trek are on a twin-sharing basis included in the trip cost and are chosen based on the standard of hygiene, standard, and clean of tourist standard available. There are mostly shame styles of accommodations during our trekking. All the lodging and meal costs have been controlled by the management community in the area.

MEALS AND WATER:

During our Trek, we can enjoy typical Nepali food, different ethnic cuisines, as well as all types of international cuisine (Tibetan, Continental, Italian, and Indian.), which are from the menu as per local supplement. Lodge has a well-trained cook basically attention to clean, hygienic, fresh, and nice testy foods. We can even enjoy hot chocolates, a variety of bread, a variety of drinks, and snacks. You could have been able to buy Bottled water from every settlement. Even we would like to support you to pay for local purifying water cheaper with that’s help to controlled plastic pollution. Also, boiled water or running fresh water with your peals or filtering is much recommended.

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU:

Raincoat, bag cover, round sun hat. Half paint for rain, waterproof walking boot, Suntan lotion, sunglass, light waterproof gore tax set, a pair of sleepers, some t-shirt, If you have your private light sleeping bag/If Not we will provide, walking stick, your regular drug and necessary you things.

ENVIRONMENTAL SENSITIVE:

The Langtang region is stunningly beautiful but equally fragile. Future generations have just as much of a right to appreciate it as we do. Hence, the tourism industry has an obligation to protect and preserve it. We are considering a ‘zero impact’ policy on the natural environment and the traditional communities that live in the traveled places. We enforce a number of dos and don’ts. We also work alongside “KEEP” in order to maintain our environmental concerns.
