Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu.

After the arrival of your flight in Nepal, a representative of A One Nepal Trek will pick up you at the hotel arranged in Kathmandu. The day will be interesting as we need to discuss more trekking. We will definitely enjoy the day visiting the valley. The night will be in Kathmandu after having the delicious dinner of your choice. (Service include: Airport pick up+ Hotel with BB plan)

Day 02: City tour, your Permits, and preparation for your trip.

Visit the world’s heritage sites. Which is the oldest of the three major cities in Kathmandu Valley – famous for its Buddhist monuments and Hindu temples, and you can catch the traditional artisans working with wood, stones, and metals.

Pashupatinath Temple: It is one of the most known holy places for Hindu pilgrims in Kathmandu valley. The whole vicinity of Pashupatinath is dense with ages-old pagoda model temples with golden plated roofs and gorgeous woodcarvings on the doors and windows. To the south of the temple, the holy Bagmati river flows down sweeping the burnt dust of dead bodies produced from the cremation on its side. A small green holy wood forest breeze maintains the site cool all the time.

 Boudhanath Stupa: It is one of the nice places to visit in Kathmandu valley, which has the biggest stupa. When someone enters the gate the holy prayer to sense peace is heard all around. All the Buddhists want to visit Boudhanath to feel the real sense of Buddhism. Boudhanath Stupa – one of the biggest stupas in the valley, has been built in the 17th Century.

Kathmandu Durbar Square: Around the square, there are some temples stood upright piercing the sky canopy and through the thousands of pigeons they spread the message of peace. Kumari temple is one of the most important parts of the square site where the ‘Living Goddess’ resides. Apart from those temples, a museum will be waiting for its visitors with an opportunity to unravel the treasures unabashedly. To visit this site is to know the historical facts of Nepal.

Soyambhunath Stupa: It is also known as ‘Monkey Temple’. The wide area of Soyambhunath is a hillock surrounded by a small forest with some golden temples of Lord Buddha at the western gate and the main temple at the top of the hill. The most interesting thing with Soyambhunath is the nice view of Kathmandu valley to be seen from the top of the hill. Various kinds and sizes of monkeys are seen guarding the hillock. A lot of monasteries with big prayer wheels are the main attraction for the visitors. (Service include: Hotel+Breakfast+Private drive+Tour with Guide)

Day 03: Kathmandu to Tumlingtar.532m.

Early morning after enjoying breakfast at Kathmandu, we will move towards the airport for a flyover to Tumlingtar. The flight goes for 45 minutes undisturbed to the altitude of 937m. We can enjoy the glorious view of the mountain from the flight. We will take a rest at Tumlingtar for the day.(Service include:Flight+ Hotel+Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner+ Guide+Porter)

Day 04: Tumlingtar to Bhotebas.1,600m. 

From Tumlingtar, the actual process of our trekking starts. We will trek further continue towards Bhotebas at 1,600m. The trekking phenomenon goes for about 6 and half hours. We will enjoy the beauty of nature during the trek to this place. We will stay the night at Bhotebas.(Service include:Tent Camp/home-stay lodge+Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner+ Guide+Porter)

Day 05: Bhotebas to Num.

The trail from Bhotebas to num passes through many ridges which we need to pass. From the ridges, we can get the magnificent view of Makalu Mountain to the north. We will be at Mure after a walk of several hours. After descending from Mure, we can reach Num. Day 06: Trek from Num to Jimmigoan.

The trekking route after num is a little bit tiresome and strenuous. We will leave the main trail and will descend towards the Arun valley for about 1 to 2 hours through the thick jungle. We will cross the river and climb to the other side towards Jimmigoan. We are now on the non-trekking route, so we don’t get any trekkers at this part.(Service include:Tent Camp/home-stay lodge+Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner+ Guide+Porter)

Day 07: Jimmigoan to Nurbuchoar. 2,080 m.

From Jimmigoan, we are entered into the non-trekking route of that region. We will continue our way further to Makalu Barun national park. The main trail will lead us to Nurbuchoar. The Nurbuchoar is at an altitude of 2080m above sea level. The surrounding here is tranquil where we can have a rest for the night after a backbreaking walk for about 8 hours.(Service include: Tent Camp/home-stay lodge+Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner+ Guide+Porter)

Day 08: Nurbuchoar to Taklung.

From Nurbuchoar, the trail goes towards the steep hills. We need to reach the ridge that separates the Iswa and Apsua Rivers. We can enjoy the beautiful sceneries of the area from the height. The trekking will go through the pasturelands of Taklung. We will stay the night at Taklung.(Service include:Tent Camp/home-stay lodge+Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner+ Guide+Porter)

Day 09: Taklung to Daware Phuk.

From Taklung, after having breakfast, we will move towards the Daware Phuk viewing the magnificent view of Chamlang. We will move towards the south of the ridge. We will continue our journey until we reach Daware Phuk. We will stay the night at Daware Phuk by establishing a camp.(Service include:Tent Camp/home-stay lodge+Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner+ Guide+Porter)

Day 10: Return back to Taklung.

If we want to explore more at Daware Phuk, we can spend a day as a rest day. But as A One Nepal Trek suggests, we will return to Taklung without spending the day. Day 11: Taklung to Walung.1,500 m.

From Taklung, we will make our long return journey descending through the main trail of Arun valley to Walung. We will certainly enjoy the view of Walung’s monastery and Gompa by receiving a warm welcome from the villagers at Walung at the altitude of 1,500m for about 8 hours.(Service include: Tent Camp/home-stay lodge+Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner+ Guide+Porter)

Day 12: Walung to Pekhuwa.

From Walung, we will make a return journey following the western side of Arun valley. The trekking route will offer us many beautiful glances throughout the way. We can’t be met any other fellow trekkers in this area. We will take a rest at Pekhuwa overnight. Day 13: Pekhuwa to Riverside camp.

From Pekhuwa, early morning, we will trek towards the riverside camp. The way goes to the Arun River sometimes up and sometimes down. After walking for about 8 hours, we will be finally at riverside camp at Sankhuwa River, a tributary of Arun River.(Service include:Tent Camp/home-stay lodge+Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner+ Guide+Porter)

Day14: Riverside camp to Chewa Beshi.

After spending a night at the bank of riverside camp, we will follow the farmed and forested terrain.  We will continue our way following the river to Chewa Besi. The night will be delighted to spend at Chewa Besi.(Service include:Tent Camp/home-stay lodge+Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner+ Guide+Porter)

Day15: Chewa Beshi to Tumlingtar and to Kathmandu.

From Chewa Besi, we need to walk for a short period of time. The trekking to Tumlingtar from Chewa Besi is the last trekking route of this area. We will be at Tumlingtar within a short period.  We will catch the flight from Tumlingtar to Kathmandu. We will fly towards Kathmandu leaving the picture of Arun valley behind us. The night will be delighted at Arun valley. (Service include: Flight+Hotel+Breakfast)

Day16: Farewell:

After the end of the exhilarating journey of the Arun valley, with the memories of the exciting trek. The process of our returning journey to our home country will be managed  A representative of the A One Nepal Trek will drop your group at an airport to help you with any inconvenience. Trek highlights:

The world’s deepest valley with a few above 8000m peaks is Mt. Everest 8,848m, Makalu 8,485, Mt. Lhotse 8,516m, Mt. Nuptse 7,855m,  Mt.Amadablam 6,812m, Mt. Thamserku 6,608m. Wilderness-Culture trek of Nepal. Heavy colorful forest with a variety of flora & fauna. Charming mingle society of people with the unique culture, religion, and seasonal harvesting. Clean running humming waterfalls and streams.

Safety – Health- facility:

Our first goal is “first safety” for all of our clients and staff. We have a smartly experienced friendly and knowledgeable workers team. All they are well trained and must of they are license holder Guides. We arrange first aid. Also, the area has a health post every 2 days, and the main hospital is not farther than the maximum of 5 hrs, from any part. We can use a quick drive on the rough road, carried by the people, take a horse ride, and arrange the Helicopter at our needed as per the emergency encase. The physical walk is 6 hours on average per day with a mini bag with your valued things average 2-5 kg. but 2 days is shorter.

Your Personal Travel Insurance:

We highly advised you to make your travel insurance during the Nepal trip from your own country. It is a condition upon joining any of our trips that all clients be insured for comprehensive expenses that might incur due to medical issues or accidents (this includes air ambulance, helicopter rescue, and treatment costs). we don’t arrange or sell insurance.

Tent camp/Local lodge during the Trek:

All accommodations for Arun Valley Trek are on a twin sharing basis included in the trip cost and are chosen based on the standard of hygiene, standard, and clean of tourist standard available. There are mostly same styles of accommodations during our trekking. Although, recommended tent camp Trek. We will fix clients’ tent, staff tent, kitchen tent, and Toilet during the trek is more comfortable than home-stay trek.

Meals and Water:

During our Trek, we will have served the food from our tent camp prepared by our well-trained cook. we can enjoy typical Nepali food, different ethnic cuisines, as well as all types of international cuisine (Tibetan, Continental, Italian, and Indian.), are as per local supplement. Our well-trained cook basically attention to clean, hygienic, fresh, and nice testy foods. We can even enjoy hot chocolates, a variety of bread, a variety of drinks, and snacks. You could have been able to buy bottled water from every settlement. Even we would like to support you to pay for local purifying water cheaper with that’s help to controlled plastic pollution. Also, boiled water or running fresh water with your peals or filtering is much recommended. We used Iodine water for the wash, drink, and cooking.

What to bring with you:

Raincoat, bag cover, round sun hat. Half paint for rain, waterproof walking boot, Suntan lotion, sunglass, light waterproof gore tax set, a pair of sleepers, some t-shirt, If you have your private light sleeping bag/If Not we will provide, walking stick, your regular drug and necessary you things.

Environmental sensitive:

The Arun Valley region is stunningly beautiful but equally fragile. Future generations have just as much of a right to appreciate it as we do. Hence, the tourism industry has an obligation to protect and preserve it. We are considering a ‘zero impact’ policy on the natural environment and the traditional communities that live in the traveled places. We enforce a number of dos and don’ts. We also work alongside “KEEP” in order to maintain our environmental concerns.

Best Season:

We are Sure Arun Valley trek for all seasons. Even Sep to Dec and Feb to May are best.

Booking Policy:

Confirm your trip at least two months before, with 25% of the payment and a copy of your passport. One group leader or agent will be free of service charge above 12 of paying the person in a group. (tax, flight, and monuments fee is not free)
