Annapurna Siklish Trekking is the alternative trekking route of Annapurna region. This trekking route is designed for inexperienced trekkers who are just at the beginning stage of trekking at Nepal. This trek will offer its visitors with the beautiful glances of Annapurna ranges along with many beautiful villages. The Siklis trekking route is located in the northeast part of Pokhara. Siklis is a beautiful Gurung village where houses are made up of mud and stones. The villages are surrounded by five other splendid villages are Lama-thar, Sabha -Thar, Harpu Thar, Dharpang thar and Gari thar. Annapurna Siklish trek starts from Bijayapur Khola, where we reach by driving for a short time from Pokhara.

From Bijayapur Khola, we ascend towards the Rakhi Gaon following the rice and wheat fields. The trail will continue towards the Kalikasthan which offers the panoramic view of many mountains along with Begnas Tal. After crossing several villages viewing many mountains from the different viewpoint, we will be at Siklis village. It is one of the largest and oldest Gurung villages of Nepal. The people of here are engaged mostly in animal husbandry and agriculture. We can explore the surrounding area along with the interesting lifestyle of Gurung and Magar community. The trekking to this region is considered as one of the best Trekking in Nepal with the difficulty of moderate while trekking. Generally, we consider the season of Feb, March, April, May, September, October and November are the best season for trekking at this part of Nepal.

Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu.

After getting on the plane from your homeland, you will be at the international airport of Nepal i.e. TIA, where you may meet a representative from A One Nepal Trek. She/he will guide you towards the best hotel in Kathmandu. The night will be enjoying at Kathmandu.(Service includes: Airport Pickup+ Hotel BB)

Day 02: Kathmandu to Pokhara.

Early morning, after having the breakfast at Kathmandu, we will move towards Pokhara. We will drive for about 6 to 8 hours to reach Pokhara. The traveling distance will be shorter if we take the plane. We will definitely enjoy the beautiful and panoramic view of the road. The night will be at Pokhara with a short visit to the city.(Service includes: Drive+Guide+Porter +Breakfast+Hotel)

Day 03: Pokhara to Kalikasthan.

From Pokhara, after having the early morning breakfast, we will drive towards the Bijayapur Khola for about 1 hour to commence our trek. Then we hike towards the trail following the paddy field and river bank. After crossing the river, our trail goes steeper towards Kalikasthan. We will spend the night at Kalikasthan resting at one of the nearest lodges.(Service includes: Guide+Porter +Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner+local lodge)

Day 04: Kalikasthan to Lamakhet.

We will trek towards Lamakhet from Kalikasthan, after having the wonderful breakfast. The trekking route goes for about 6 hours long to the altitude of 1680m. The trail goes through the settlement of mixed ethnic people and then to Mardi Khola through the rice fields. The trekking route is easy as we need to trek alongside the river. We will reach Lamakhet at the end of the day. We will spend the night at Lamakhet. Day 05: Lamakhet to Siklis village.

After receiving the breakfast at Lamakhet, we will proceed forwards for Siklis. The trekking goes for about 6 hours long walking distance. The trail goes through the flat surface until we reach Khilan Gaon. Afterward Khilan Gaon, we will head towards Siklis following the trail that goes up to the hill. After walking for 6 hours, we are now at Siklis village at the altitude of 1,980m.(Service includes: Guide+Porter +Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner+local lodge)

Day 06: Siklis to Forest camp.

After spending a stunning day at Siklis, we will return from our journey with a graceful heart. We will continue our trek following the Neuli Kharka or forest camp at the altitude of 2200m.The trekking phenomenon goes for about 5 hours. The trail goes through the forest of rhododendron and oak forest with the fresh breeze coming from it all the year. After a short trek, we will be at forest camp where we will have our camp for the night.(Service includes: Guide+Porter +Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner+local lodge)

Day 07: Forest camp to Ghale Gaun.

Early morning, we will clear our camp and will move towards the Ghale Gaun. We need to trek through the forest covered by rhododendron and some extinct animals. We need to cross the highest camp and our way will go steeply down towards Ghale Gaun. The Ghale Gaun is mainly the settlement of Gurung and Magar people.(Service includes: Guide+Porter +Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner+local lodge)

Day 08: Ghale Gaun to Pokhara.

From Ghale Gaun, after having the breakfast we will march towards Pokhara viewing the dazzling view of giant mountains with their white cap of snow. The trekking goes for 3 hours and a steep path will lead us to Hangja to the height of 1,070 to catch a vehicle to return to Pokhara. We can enjoy the evening and night at Pokhara valley enjoying the beautiful market area.(Service includes: Guide+Porter +Breakfast+Lunch+Hotel)

Day 09: Pokhara to Kathmandu.

Early morning, after having the breakfast, we will procedure be back to Kathmandu by a drive for about 6 to 8 hours. We can enjoy the beauties of nature presented on the side of the road. The night will be at Kathmandu with a graceful heart.(Service includes: Guide+Porter +Breakfast+Drive+Hotel)

Day 10: Farewell Program.

We will be served by the refreshing breakfast.We can spend the rest time visit some nearby market.You should be at the airport before 3 hours of your flight. One of the most popular short-easy home-stay treks. Rich in nature with 3 major peaks [Mt Dhaulagiri 8,167m, Mt Annapurna I 8,091m, Mt Manaslu 8,163m] and several beautiful peaks. Heavy colorful forest with a variety of flora & fauna. Charming mingle society of people with the unique culture, religion, and seasonal harvesting. Clean running humming waterfalls and streams.

Safety – Health- facility:

Our first goal is “first safety” for all of our clients and staff. We have a smartly experienced friendly and knowledgeable workers team. All they are well trained and must of they are license holder Guides. We arrange first aid. Also, the area has health posts every single day, and the main hospital is not farther than a maximum of 3 hrs, from any part. We can use a quick drive on a rough road, carried by the people, take a horse ride, and arrange the drive at our need as per the emergency encase. The physical walk is 6 hours on average per day with a mini bag with your valued things average 2-5 kg.

Your Personal Travel Insurance:

We highly advised you to make your travel insurance during the Nepal trip from your own country. It is a condition upon joining any of our trips that all clients be insured for comprehensive expenses that might incur due to medical issues or accidents (this includes air ambulance, helicopter rescue, and treatment costs). we don’t arrange or sell insurance.

Teahouse Local lodge during the Trek:

All accommodations for Siklesh Trek are on a twin sharing Home-Stay basis included in the trip cost and are chosen based on the standard of hygiene, standard, and clean of tourist standard available. There are mostly shame styles of accommodations during our trekking. All the lodging and meal costs have been controlled by the management community in the area.

Meals and Water:

During our Trek, we can enjoy typical Nepali food, different ethnic cuisines, as well as all types of international cuisine (Tibetan, Continental, Italian, and Indian.), which are from the menu as per local supplement. Lodge has a well-trained cook basically attention to clean, hygienic, fresh, and nice testy foods. We can even enjoy hot chocolates, a variety of bread, a variety of drinks, and snacks. You could have been able to buy Bottled water from every settlement. Even we would like to support you to pay for local purifying water cheaper with that’s help to controlled plastic pollution. Also, boiled water or running fresh water with your peals or filtering is much recommended.

What to bring with you:

Raincoat, bag cover, round sun hat. Half paint for rain, waterproof walking boot, Suntan lotion, sunglass, light waterproof gore tax set, a pair of sleepers, some t-shirt, If you have your private light sleeping bag/If Not we will provide, walking stick, your regular drug and necessary you things.

Environmental sensitive:

The Annapurna region is stunningly beautiful but equally fragile. Future generations have just as much of a right to appreciate it as we do. Hence, the tourism industry has an obligation to protect and preserve it. We are considering a ‘zero impact’ policy on the natural environment and the traditional communities that live in the traveled places. We enforce a number of dos and don’ts. We also work alongside “KEEP” in order to maintain our environmental concerns.

Best Season:

We are Siklish trekking for all seasons. Even Sep to Dec and Feb to May are the best.

Booking Policy:

Confirm your trip at least two months before, with 25% of the payment and a copy of your passport. One group leader or agent will be free of service charge above 12 of paying the person in a group. (tax, flight, and monuments fee is not free).
