Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and check-in to Hotel.

After landing the flight at TIA, a representative of A Nepal Trek will warmly receive you and will move towards the hotel arranged by A One Nepal Trek. We will enjoy delicious dinner at night with a brief description of the upcoming trekking program.

Day 02: Sightseeing Tour of Kathmandu Valley and Pre-trip Preparation.

Today, we spend the whole for the sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley with a guide. After having breakfast, we visit Pashupatinath, which is regarded as the holiest temple of Lord Shiva then to Bauddhanath known as Little Tibet. From Bauddhanath, we visit Swayambhunath known as Monkey Temple which is an ancient religious place for Buddhist. After Swayambhunath, we drive to Kathmandu (Basantpur) Durbar Square. Finally, you will have dinner at the hotel and stay there overnight.

Day 03: Arrive in Lhasa by Air.

Our arrival will be at Gonggar airport. Then we will have an easy two-hour scenic drive to Lhasa. The rest of the day can be enjoyed relaxing. We will spend our night at the hotel of Lhasa.

Day 04: Lhasa Sightseeing.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will start the sightseeing tour to different ancient monuments of the city with our experienced English speaking Tibetan guide. In the beginning, we will visit the beautiful Sera Monastery then the afternoon will be enjoyed in visiting the Jokhang temple and Norbulingka palace. We will return back to the hotel to stay or night.

Day 05: Sightseeing in Lhasa.

Today also we will explore Lhasa valley. Firstly we will visit the splendid Potala Palace which is regarded to have existed before the 17th century. To enjoy the trip you will also visit Drepung Monastery of historical and cultural significances. Once home to over 10,000 monks, the Drepung Monastery is still the hypnotic sight to enjoy. Then we will return to the hotel to stay overnight.

Day 06: Lhasa to Gyantse (3950m) then Shigatse (3900m).

After having breakfast, we will leave Lhasa and get through Land cruisers along the Friendship highway. We need to pass numerous passes, such as Khambo La and Kharo La. The tempting views of the Himalayan range can be seen. Then we will reach Gyantse. And we will explore more amazing Tibetan culture as you see the Gyantse Dzong and Kumbum. Then, the trip will continue another two hours easy drive to Shigatse. Our night will be at a hotel.

Day 07: Shigatse (3900m) to Tingri (4390m) then EBC (5200m).

After breakfast, we will visit Tashilumpu Monastery, one of the largest functioning monasteries in Tibet. It lasted then Cultural Revolution nearly unscathed. After the visit, we will drive further along the snow-capped mountains to reach Everest base camp via the historical city of Tingri. Our night will be a guest house in Rongbuk base camp.

Day 08: Drive back to Tingri to Kerung(1800m).

This morning is the highlight of the trip heading to the incredible base camp of Mt. Everest. We can take a local transport to cover this 8 km distance to reach Everest Basecamp. The view of Everest from so close making the mountain seems even more impressive than before. Of course, it is a truly breathtaking experience to gaze up at the sheer North face of this highest mountain in the world. After exploring EBC we will return on the Friendship highway and continue our amazing journey down to a small border town called Kerung.

Day 09: Drive from Kerung to Kathmandu (1300m).

We will leave Kerung in the morning and move forward to the border of Nepal. The Friendship Bridge is situated at the Border of Tibet and Nepal which is only a few km from Zhangmu. You may say goodbye to your guide and staff then pace down to Nepal side where our Nepalese staff will meet you at the Immigration Control in Kodari and assist with all the re-entry formalities. The Kathmandu city, our final destination, is only five hours drive to the south.

Day 10: Final Departure.

After having a night rest at Kathmandu, we will pack our luggage to march ourselves towards TIA. We have to reach airport 3 hours before the flight. We will attend a small farewell program organized by A One Nepal Trek. After then we will catch the flight to return back to the home country. We hope while returning back to the home country you will think about a revisit to Nepal. We hope for your better journey.

Safety – Health- facility:

Our first goal is “first safety” for all of our clients and staff. We have smartly experienced friendly and knowledge able workers team. All they are well trained and must of they are license holder Guides. We arrange first aid. Also the area has heath post on every 2 days, and main hospital is not farther than maximum 5 hrs, from any part. We can use a quick drive on ruff road, carry by the people, take a horse ride, and arrange the Helicopter at our needed as per the emergency encase. The physical walk is 6 hours average per day with mini bag with your valued things average 2-5 kg. but 2 days is shorter.

Your Personal Travel Insurance:

We highly advised you to make your travel insurance during Nepal trip from your own country. It is a condition upon joining any of our trips that all clients be insured for comprehensive expenses that might incur due to medical issues or accidents (this includes air ambulance, helicopter rescue, and treatment costs).we don’t arrange or sell insurance.

Tea house Local lodge during the Trek:

All accommodations for Ghorepani-Poon hill Trek are on twin sharing basis included in the trip cost and are chosen based on standard of hygiene, standard and clean of tourist standard available. There are mostly shame styles of accommodations during our trekking. And very some of place has limits of Attach bath room as your own payment. All the lodging and meal cost has controlled by management community at in area.

Meals and Water:

During our Trek, we can enjoy typical Nepali food, different ethnic cuisines as well as all types of international cuisine (Tibetan, Continental, Italian, and Indian.) are from the menu as per local supplement. Lodge has well trained cook basically attention for clean, hygienic, fresh and nice testy foods. We can even enjoy hot chocolates, variety of breads, variety of drinks, and snacks. You could have able to buy Bottled water from every settlement. Even we would like to support you to pay for local purifying water cheaper with that’s help to controlled plastic pollution. Also the boiled water, or running fresh water with your peals or filtering is much recommended.

What to bring with you:

Raincoat, bag cover, round sun hat. Half paint for rain, waterproof waking boot, Suntan lotion, sunglass, light waterproof gore tax set, a pair of sleepers, some t-shirt, If you have your private light sleeping bag/If Not we will provide, walking stick, your regular drug and necessary you things.

The Annapurna region is stunningly beautiful, but equally fragile. Future generations have just as much of a right to appreciate it as we do. Hence, the tourism industry has an obligation to protect and preserve it. We are consideration a ‘zero impact’ policy on the natural environment and the traditional communities that live at the traveled places. We enforce a number of do’s and don’ts. We also work alongside “KEEP” in order to maintain our environmental concerns.

Best Season: We are Sure Ghorepani-Poon hill trek for all Season. Even Sep to Dec and Feb to Apr is best.
