Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and check-in to Hotel

After landing the flight at TIA, a representative of A One Nepal Trek will warmly receive you and will move towards the hotel arranged by our company. We will enjoy delicious dinner at night with a brief description of the upcoming trekking program.

Day 02: Sightseeing Tour of Kathmandu Valley and Pre-trip Preparation

Today, we spend the whole for the sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley with guide. After having breakfast, we visit Pashupatinath, which is regarded as the holiest temple of Lord Shiva then to Bauddhanath known as Little Tibet. From Bauddhanath, we visit Swayambhunath known as Monkey Temple   which is an ancient religious place for Buddhist. After Swayambhunath, we drive to Kathmandu (Basantpur) Durbar Square. Finally, you will have dinner at hotel and stay there overnight.

Day 03: Drive Kathmandu to Nyalam 3600m, 133km

Early morning after having delicious breakfast we will drive toward Nayalam. Our route goes through Arniko Highway. We will enjoy the scene of beautiful Nepalese countryside to Kodari on the Nepal Tibet border. We will change our vehicle from the border of Nepal & Tibet; we will start our two hours adventurous uphill drive to Nyalam. Our night will be at guest house.

Day 04: Drive Nyalam to Tingri 4350m 244km

After having breakfast at guesthouse, we will start our exciting day with an adventure drive through lush, green lower hills into the dry, arid landscape of the Tibetan Plateau. We will cross several high pass. It includes the Lalung La 5050m from where we can have a breathtaking panorama of the Himalayan range Mt Everest. A fitting backdrop to the vastness of the Tibetan Plateau is also very good. Our night will be at guest house of Tingri.

Day 05: Drive Tingri to Shigatse 3900m, 245km

Today we will drive passing by lonely monasteries and the camps of Nomadic herders. We will cross the highest pass of our trip, the Gyamtso La 5220m before descending once more to the barren splendor of the plains. Our night will be at the best hotel in Shigatse – the second largest city of Tibet.

Day 06: Drive Shigatse to Gyantse 3950m, 90 km

We will have breakfast and visit stunning Tashilungpo Monastery, one of the largest functioning monasteries in Tibet, just before short and scenic drive to Gyantse.  In Gyantse, we will visit the Pelkor Chode Monastery and the Gyantse Kumbum a large gold-domed stupa. It is famous for its many chapels house an impressive array of Tibetan Buddhist murals. Our night will be cool at the hotel.

Day 07: Drive Gyantse to Lhasa 3680m, 265km

From Gyantse we will have a long drive to Lhasa crossing the Karo La pass 5045m; from where the awesome sight of a huge glacier tumbling can be seen. We will follow the bank of a beautiful turquoise lake; the Yamdrok-tso, for about 20 Km. We will cross the Khamba La 4794m, and continues on to Lhasa the capital of Tibet. Night will be in the best city.

Day 08: Sightseeing In Lhasa

After breakfast at hotel, we will start the sightseeing tour to different ancient monuments of city with our experienced English speaking Tibetan guide. At the beginning, we will visit the beautiful Sera Monastery then the afternoon will be enjoyed in visiting the Jokhang temple and Norbulingka palace. We will return back to hotel to stay or night.

Day 09: Sightseeing in Lhasa

Today also we will explore Lhasa valley. Firstly we will visit the splendid Potala Palace which is regarded to have existence before 17th century. To enjoy the trip you will also visit Drepung Monastery of historical and cultural significances. Once home to over 10,000 monks, the Drepung Monastery is still the hypnotic sight to enjoy. Then we will return to hotel to stay overnight.

Day 10: Fly Lhasa to Kathmandu (1300m)

We will leave Lhasa early in the morning and drive for 2 hour to Gonggar Airport and flight back to Kathmandu which will be ending trip. We will enjoy the view of Himalayas through the plane.

Day 11: Final Departure

After having a night rest at Kathmandu, we will pack our luggage to march ourselves towards TIA. We have to reach at airport 3 hours before the flight. We will attend a small farewell program organized by A One Nepal Trek. After then we will catch the flight to return back to the home country. We hope, while returning back to home country you will think for a re visit to Nepal. We hope for your better journey.

Safety – Health- facility:

Our first goal is “first safety” for all of our clients and staff. We have smartly experienced friendly and knowledge able workers team. All they are well trained and must of they are license holder Guides. We arrange first aid. Also the area has heath post on every 2 days, and main hospital is not farther than maximum 5 hrs, from any part. We can use a quick drive on ruff road, carry by the people, take a horse ride, and arrange the Helicopter at our needed as per the emergency encase. The physical walk is 6 hours average per day with mini bag with your valued things average 2-5 kg. but 2 days is shorter.

Your Personal Travel Insurance:

We highly advised you to make your travel insurance during Nepal trip from your own country. It is a condition upon joining any of our trips that all clients be insured for comprehensive expenses that might incur due to medical issues or accidents (this includes air ambulance, helicopter rescue, and treatment costs).we don’t arrange or sell insurance.

Tea house Local lodge during the Trek:

All accommodations for Ghorepani-Poon hill Trek are on twin sharing basis included in the trip cost and are chosen based on standard of hygiene, standard and clean of tourist standard available. There are mostly shame styles of accommodations during our trekking. And very some of place has limits of Attach bath room as your own payment. All the lodging and meal cost has controlled by management community at in area.

Meals and Water:

During our Trek, we can enjoy typical Nepali food, different ethnic cuisines as well as all types of international cuisine (Tibetan, Continental, Italian, and Indian.) are from the menu as per local supplement. Lodge has well trained cook basically attention for clean, hygienic, fresh and nice testy foods. We can even enjoy hot chocolates, variety of breads, variety of drinks, and snacks. You could have able to buy Bottled water from every settlement. Even we would like to support you to pay for local purifying water cheaper with that’s help to controlled plastic pollution. Also the boiled water, or running fresh water with your peals or filtering is much recommended.

What to bring with you:

Raincoat, bag cover, round sun hat. Half paint for rain, waterproof waking boot, Suntan lotion, sunglass, light waterproof gore tax set, a pair of sleepers, some t-shirt, If you have your private light sleeping bag/If Not we will provide, walking stick, your regular drug and necessary you things.

Environmental sensitive:

The Annapurna region is stunningly beautiful, but equally fragile. Future generations have just as much of a right to appreciate it as we do. Hence, the tourism industry has an obligation to protect and preserve it. We are consideration a ‘zero impact’ policy on the natural environment and the traditional communities that live at the traveled places. We enforce a number of do’s and don’ts. We also work alongside “KEEP” in order to maintain our environmental concerns.

Best Season: We are Sure Ghorepani-Poon hill trek for all Season. Even Sep to Dec and Feb to Apr is best.

Booking Policy:

Confirm your trip at least two months before, with 25% of payment and a copy of your passport. One group leader or agent will be free of service charge above 12 of paying person in a group.[tax, flight and monuments fee is not free.
