Details Intinerary

ay 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and check-in to Hotel

After landing the flight at TIA, a representative of A One Nepal Trek will warmly receive you and will move towards the hotel arranged by A One Nepal Trek. We will enjoy delicious dinner at night with a brief description of the upcoming trekking program.

Day 02: Sightseeing Tour of Kathmandu Valley and Pre-trip Preparation

Today, we spend the whole for the sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley with guide. After having breakfast, we visit Pashupatinath, which is regarded as the holiest temple of Lord Shiva then to Bauddhanath known as Little Tibet. From Bauddhanath, we visit Swayambhunath known as Monkey Temple   which is an ancient religious place for Buddhist. After Swayambhunath, we drive to Kathmandu (Basantpur) Durbar Square. Finally, you will have dinner at hotel and stay there overnight.

Day 03: Fly Kathmandu to Lhasa

Our arrival will be at Gonggar airport. Then we will have an easy two hour scenic drive to Lhasa. The rest of the day can be enjoyed relaxing. We will spend our night at the hotel of Lhasa.

Day 04: Sightseeing in Lhasa

After breakfast at hotel, we will start the sightseeing tour to different ancient monuments of city with our experienced English speaking Tibetan guide. At the beginning, we will visit the beautiful Sera Monastery then the afternoon will be enjoyed in visiting the Jokhang temple and Norbulingka palace. We will return back to hotel to stay or night.

Day 05: Sightseeing in Lhasa

Today also we will explore Lhasa valley. Firstly we will visit the splendid Potala Palace which is regarded to have existence before 17th century. To enjoy the trip you will also visit Drepung Monastery of historical and cultural significances. Once home to over 10,000 monks, the Drepung Monastery is still the hypnotic sight to enjoy. Then we will return to hotel to stay overnight.

Day 06: Rest day in Lhasa

Day for the rest and properly acclimatize for further visiting Lhasa is today’s day. We will leisurely walk around Lhasa to explore more monasteries or temples. Then we will return back to hotel and rest in the Lhasa.

Day 07: Lhasa to Gyantse

After having breakfast, we will leave Lhasa and get through Land cruisers along the Friendship highway. We need to pass numerous passes, such as Khambo La and Kharo La. The tempting views of the Himalayan range can be seen. Then we will reach Gyantse and overnight will be at the hotel.

Day 08: Gyantse to Shigatse

In Gyantse, we will get chance of learning about more interesting Tibetan culture as we can see the Gyantse Dzong and Kumbum Chorten. Grand view of the valley can be seen from the ancient Dzong fort. The scenic 90 km drive to Shigatse which is the 2nd largest city in Tibet facilitates us to explore the legendry monasteries and local markets without waste of time. Overnight will be at the hotel of Shigatse.

Day 09: Shigatse to Shegar (New Tingri)

We will visit the huge Tashi Limphu Monastery. We will drive along the Friendship Highway. We can enjoy with the wondrous views of the Tibetan plateau. In route, we will encounter the highest pass of the trip, Gyamtso La, as well as numerous nomadic herders. We will stay night at guest house.

Day 10: Shegar to Rongbuk

We will have morning breakfast and leave Shegar. We will cross the Pang La pass. From the top, entire breathtaking view of the Himalayas can be caught at once easily. This may be your first real glimpse of Everest. We will spend night at the guest house at Rongbuk.

Day 11: Rongbuk to Everest Base Camp

Today we will spend the time enjoying the barren yet awe-inspiring surroundings of the Everest Base Camp. It will be the memorable experience to stare up into the world’s highest peak and gradually we will acclimatize our self for further trek. Our night will be cool at Everest Base Camp.

Day 12: Rest day at Everest Base camp

In order to have safe trip, we will spend the bay at Everest Base Camp for proper acclimatizing. We will take rest during the day and explore the area even further if you want. Then we will return to the same place to stay overnight.

Day 13: Trek from Everest Base Camp to Camp one

The first adventurous trek will be made to Camp one. Along the way we can glance at the Rongbuk Glacier and surrounding areas which are not less charming areas than any other wonders of the world. We will take a trail that rises to the east side of this ice cap and heads toward the peak of Mt. Everest. Although the hike is fairly short, due to the high altitude, we may still feel hard during trip. So, you may relax today and enjoy exploring this amazing area. Our night will be cool at the tent.

Day 14: Trek to Interim Camp

Today our trekking trip will lead us over gravel hills to the west of the glacier. Another scenic day awaits you as you spend the night at the interim camp. Frozen environment that surround you in all directions will surely grant you the amazing experience. We will spend our night in the tent.

Day 15: Rest day in Interim Camp

The day to rest and properly acclimatize as we are now at extremely high altitudes, and must take all necessary safety precautions to avoid hard moments arises. However, small excursions and wonderful picture capturing can be enjoyed today. We will again return back to camp to spend our night.

Day 16: Trek to Camp two

Today we will ascend up towards the Changste glacier encountering the intricate maze of frozen ice. It is certainly an incredible experience to be hiking on the world’s highest mountain! Today our camp is even more wonderful and charming than past sites. We are surrounded on all sides by varying glaciers and hanging ice. We will spend cool night at the camp.

Day 17: Trek to camp three and return to camp two

Today we can decide whether to stay night at Base camp 3 or simply descend during day and return to Base Camp 2. The walk will be much more enjoyable tomorrow if you stay at the second base camp. However, if you wish you can spend the night at an even higher altitude and impressive location. Camp 3 which lies in the center of flattened gravel mounds next to the glacier only 2400 meters from the top. Today we can observe many of the challenging pinnacles, ridges, and even the rock summit of Everest from the site which is very near from the highest point in the world.

Day 18: Return to Base Camp

Today we descend down back towards the first base camp capturing the wonderful sights as we leave this amazing peak. We will spend our night at base camp.

Day 19: Base camp to Nyalam

Today we will retrace back the Friendship Highway and experience another memorable drive through high plateau. Once again we will cross two high passes with magnificent Himalayan view. We will descend from the Tibetan plateau and reach Nyalam. We will spend night at guest house of Nyalam.

Day 20: Nyalam to Kathmandu

As the day breaks, we will cross the Friendship Bridge and return Nepal. We will express our fond farewell and thanks giving to your Tibetan crew and go through all the necessary border paperwork. Then we will meet our Nepalese guide on the other side and by nearly five hours scenic drive you can reach Kathmandu.

Day 21: Final Departure

After having a night rest at Kathmandu, we will pack our luggage to march ourselves towards TIA. We have to reach at airport 3 hours before the flight. We will attend a small farewell program organized by A One Nepal Trek. After then we will catch the flight to return back to the home country. We hope, while returning back to home country you will think for a re visit to Nepal. We hope for your better journey.

Safety – Health- facility:

Our first goal is “first safety” for all of our clients and staff. We have smartly experienced friendly and knowledge able workers team. All they are well trained and must of they are license holder Guides. We arrange first aid. Also the area has heath post on every 2 days, and main hospital is not farther than maximum 5 hrs, from any part. We can use a quick drive on ruff road, carry by the people, take a horse ride, and arrange the Helicopter at our needed as per the emergency encase. The physical walk is 6 hours average per day with mini bag with your valued things average 2-5 kg. but 2 days is shorter.

Your Personal Travel Insurance:

We highly advised you to make your travel insurance during Nepal trip from your own country. It is a condition upon joining any of our trips that all clients be insured for comprehensive expenses that might incur due to medical issues or accidents (this includes air ambulance, helicopter rescue, and treatment costs).we don’t arrange or sell insurance.

Tea house Local lodge during the Trek:

All accommodations for Ghorepani-Poon hill Trek are on twin sharing basis included in the trip cost and are chosen based on standard of hygiene, standard and clean of tourist standard available. There are mostly shame styles of accommodations during our trekking. And very some of place has limits of Attach bath room as your own payment. All the lodging and meal cost has controlled by management community at in area.

Meals and Water:

During our Trek, we can enjoy typical Nepali food, different ethnic cuisines as well as all types of international cuisine (Tibetan, Continental, Italian, and Indian.) are from the menu as per local supplement. Lodge has well trained cook basically attention for clean, hygienic, fresh and nice testy foods. We can even enjoy hot chocolates, variety of breads, variety of drinks, and snacks. You could have able to buy Bottled water from every settlement. Even we would like to support you to pay for local purifying water cheaper with that’s help to controlled plastic pollution. Also the boiled water, or running fresh water with your peals or filtering is much recommended.

What to bring with you:

Raincoat, bag cover, round sun hat. Half paint for rain, waterproof waking boot, Suntan lotion, sunglass, light waterproof gore tax set, a pair of sleepers, some t-shirt, If you have your private light sleeping bag/If Not we will provide, walking stick, your regular drug and necessary you things.

The Annapurna region is stunningly beautiful, but equally fragile. Future generations have just as much of a right to appreciate it as we do. Hence, the tourism industry has an obligation to protect and preserve it. We are consideration a ‘zero impact’ policy on the natural environment and the traditional communities that live at the traveled places. We enforce a number of do’s and don’ts. We also work alongside “KEEP” in order to maintain our environmental concerns.

Best Season: We are Sure Ghorepani-Poon hill trek for all Season. Even Sep to Dec and Feb to Apr is best.
