Upper Dolpo Trekking

Upper Dolpo Trekking route leads us to the unexplored and remote areas of Dolpa districts. The trekking region will lead to the remote areas near the Tibetan border. The trekking to this area is considered as the adventurous and mystical trekking route as it contains the major part of remote areas of the region. Even though the trekking route is challenging and risky, we can get the panoramic view of mountains and other landscapes while trekking at this area. The trekking route is isolated and due to its remoteness, the trekking region is less crowded. The main highlights of this trekking route are the ancient monasteries and some beautiful and traditional culture of people living in the landscapes. We will see many Buddhists monasteries along with the wildlife and many snowier peaks during the whole trek. We can see many crystal clear views of mountains from the different viewpoint during the trek. The trekking route will lead us to the hidden and unexplored valleys of the largest districts of Nepal. We can see many animals like Goral, Himalayan Thar, wolf, Langur, Himalayan Black Bear and Yellowthroat marten. Shey Phoksundo Lake is also one of the important highlights of this trekking.

Upper Dolpo trek begins with a flight over to Nepalgunj and then to Jhuphal. The trekking route then continues towards the Ankhe, Renje,  Phoksundo Lake, Kang La pass, Saldang La Pass, Sibu, Dho Tarap, Serkam,  Khani Gaun, Tarakot, Dunai and other many more beautiful places of the trekking route. The trekking will end after the return journey to the Nepalgunj.  A One Nepal Trek will organize different types of trekking in this trekking area.

The whole vicinity of Pashupatinath is dense with ages-old pagoda model temples with golden plated roofs and the gorgeous woodcarvings on the doors and windows. To the south of the temple, the holy Bagmati river flows down sweeping the burnt dust of dead bodies produced from the cremation on its side. A small green holy wood forest breeze maintains the site cool all the time.
