Serpeni Col pass trekking is the ultimate high altitude trekking which in completely non-technical and during the trekking we should camp at different height above 6000m. Thus, the trekking to these high lands is regarded as one of the strenuous and risky adventurous trekking route of Nepal.  The trekking route will offers us beautiful scenario at the different landscapes .The path goes through the beautiful view point from where we can get the magnificent view of giant ranges of mountains like Everest, Lhotse and Makalu along with the holy Panch Pokhari. The trekking to these regions required some experience on trekking along with the help of better guides and experts help. We also need to carry the necessary equipments like rope and other important things required for climbing during this trek.

The trekking to these regions begins with the 45 minute flight east to the Tumlingtar. We will have the fantastic view of the giant ranges of mountain of the Himalayas. From the Tumlingtar, we will follow the way to the tranquil and beautiful path of the Khandbari. Then the trail continues through the Chilchile, Num, Seduwa, Tashigaon, Kauma, Mumbuk, Sherson and finally to the base camp. The returning journey will go through the beautiful trail of the Everest base camp through the Dingboche, Pangboche, Tengboche, Namche bazaar, Lukla and finally to Kathmandu through the flight.

Details Intinerary

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu

When you will get in the flight from your country, you will be landed at the land of Himalayas. After landing of the flight, you will be received warmly by the representative of A Nepal Trek. After completing the legal procedures of the airport, you will be guided towards the hotel room of Kathmandu. The night will be interesting at Kathmandu.

 Day 02: Fly from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar and trek to Manebhanjyang

After enjoying the breakfast at Kathmandu, we will move towards the airport to catch the flight over to Tumlingtar. The flight takes about 45 minutes for us to reach to Tumlingtar. After landing at Tumlingtar, we will move towards the Mane Bhanjyang. The trekking route goes for about 5 to 6 hours. The trail goes through the beautiful forest of rhododendron and Sal. We need to pass through many beautiful village of the route.  We will enjoy the night at Mane Bhanjyang.

 Day 03: Manebhanjyang to Chilchile

From Manebhanjyang, we will ascend towards the Chilchile through the forest of rhododendron and Sal for about 3 to 4 hours. Chilchile is mainly inhabited by Gurung community people. We can see a government school over there. We may find some good tea houses at Chilchile where we will stay the night.

Day 04: Chilchile to Num

From Chilchile, the trail ascends for about two hours to reach at the top and then descends following the small perennial river. Continuing our way will lead us to Num after waling for about 4 to 5 hours. Num is a beautiful village where we can have some tea houses and lodges. The night will be enjoying at Num at 1500m after the trekking of about 4 to 5 hours.

Day 05: Num to Seduwa

From num, the trail goes steeply towards the Neguwa Khola after a descending way of about 2 hours. The trail passes through the suspension bridges and ascends through forest and few traditional villages. We can see people grazing and cultivating during the trek to Seduwa. We will stay the night at Seduwa at 1510m.

Day 06: Seduwa to Tashigaon

From Seduwa, we will trek slightly through the surface through the bushes. While walking at this area, we will see many villages at the distance. Walking for about 4 to 5 hours will enables us to reach at Tashigaon. On the trail, we will find many types of player flags of Sherpa people. The night will be enjoying at Tashigaon at 2070m.

Day 07: Tashigaon to Khongma la

From the Tashigaon, the trail ascends through the forest of rhododendron and Sal. After walking for about 5 to 6 hours, we will reach to our destination. From the Khongma la we will get the eye catching view all around us. This place is perfect for camping. The night will be at tented camp at Khongma la at 3560m.

Day 08: Khongma la to Mumbuk

At first the path goes to the height with the trail and then goes towards the beautiful lake namely Kalo Pokhari at the height of 4004m. Then the trail will move towards the down track following the path to Mumbuk. It is a beautiful place surrounded by green forest from all sides. The night will be at Mumbuk at tented camp.

Day 09: Mumbuk to Yangle Kharka

From Mumbuk, we will trek for about 4 to 5 hours. We will hike towards the Yangle Kharka which is regarded as tough and adventurous path. The trail will move further towards the Yangle Kharka following the Barun River. The trail will offers us spectacular view of great mountain ranges. The night will be fun at Yangle Kharka.

Day 10: Yangle Kharka to Yak Kharka

The trail from the Yangle Kharka will further ascend through the grass lands and forest. We can get the majestic view of great ranges of mountains like Mt. Tutse, Ishuwa La and other numerous numbers of mountains all around us. We will reach at yak Kharka after a trekking of about 5 to 6 hours. The night will be at tented camp at Yak Kharka.

Day 11: Yak Kharka to Makalu base camp

From the yak Kharka, we will move towards our destination. We will pass through the main trail to reach to Makalu base camp. From the base camp, we can get the panoramic view of mountains like Mt. Makalu, Baruntse, Kali Himal, Chamlang and Makalu. The night will be enjoying at Makalu base camp at tented camp.

Day 12: Makalu base camp to Hilary base camp

From Makalu base camp, we will start the trek following the beautiful but tough trail of the high lands for Hilary base camp. The view of the surrounding will be worth watching. We will walk through the main trail for several hours to reach at Hilary base camp at 5215m.

Day 13: Hilary base camp to Baruntse base camp

While trekking at these highlands, we need to acclimatize ourselves at every moment as the altitude may create problem in the further journey. We will follow the main trail from the Hilary base camp to Baruntse base camp to the altitude of 5350m above sea level after walking for about 5 to 6 hours.

Day 14: Baruntse base camp to Serpeni Col base camp

From the Baruntse base camp, we follow the rough and tough trail which will leads us to the Serpeni Col base camp. Despite its difficulty, we can get the most panoramic view of Mountain View during the whole trek from the Baruntse base camp to Serpeni Col base camp. Sherpeni Col base camp is at the altitude of 5800m above sea level.

Day 15: Sherpeni base camp to Panch Pokhari

From Serpeni base camp, we will trek towards the the Panch Pokhari. The trekking to this area will be tough but interesting also. We will view the most panoramic view of mountains along with the five ponds named as Panch Pokhari. We will cross the Serpeni Col and west Col at the height of 6100m. we can trek up to Baruntse base camp.

Day 16: Baruntse base camp to Amphu Laptsa base camp

Some of the fellow trekkers may spend a day resting at the land of Baruntse base camp. But as A Nepal Trek suggests, we will continue our journey towards the Amphu Laptsa base camp to the height of 5550m. The trekking route will offers us glorious view of mountains of different heights during the trek. We will stay the night at the tented camp at Amphu Laptsa base camp.

Day 17: Amphu Laptsa base camp to Chukkung

From Amphu base camp, we will resume our journey following the beautiful trail to Chukkung to the altitude of 4670m. The trek has something great to offer its visitors. The trekking to these lands will be quiet interesting and exhilarating.

Day 18: Chukkung to Tengboche

With the lower altitude, we will find more people settling on the trekking trail. From Chukkung, we will descend to the height of 3700m. The returning journey will be surely interesting with the interactive people. We will stay a night at Tengboche.

Day 19: Tengboche to Namche bazaar

From Tengboche we will walk through the main trail of the Everest base camp. The returning journey will be interesting as we can meet some of the fellow trekkers who are moving towards the Everest base camp. The view of the surrounding will be quiet exhilarating. The night will be at Namche bazaar.

Day 20: Namche bazaar to Lukla

From Namche bazaar, we will walk through the trail descending from the beautiful village along with the helpful people throughout the way. We will interact with the local people to get more information about the trekking route and region. The night will be relaxing at Lukla enjoying with friends.

Day 21: Lukla to Kathmandu

Early morning, we will wake up at Lukla and will have our last breakfast at the land of the Himalayas. Then we will catch the flight over to Kathmandu. The flight goes for about 45 minutes. The leisure time will be spending in doing shopping or visiting around the market.

Day 22: Farewell

After having a relaxing night at Kathmandu, finally, the day of returning back to our home country and busy schedule has come with the ending of our glittering tour over to the highlands of Nepal. A Nepal Trek will organize a small farewell program at the airport and will help for any inconvenience that may arise during the departure.  We wish for your better journey ahead.

Safety – Health- facility:

Our first goal is “first safety” for all of our clients and staff. We have smartly experienced friendly and knowledge able workers team. All they are well trained and must of they are license holder Guides. We arrange first aid. Also the area has heath post on every 2 days, and main hospital is not farther than maximum 5 hrs, from any part. We can use a quick drive on ruff road, carry by the people, take a horse ride, and arrange the Helicopter at our needed as per the emergency encase. The physical walk is 6 hours average per day with mini bag with your valued things average 2-5 kg. but 2 days is shorter.

Your Personal Travel Insurance:

We highly advised you to make your travel insurance during Nepal trip from your own country. It is a condition upon joining any of our trips that all clients be insured for comprehensive expenses that might incur due to medical issues or accidents (this includes air ambulance, helicopter rescue, and treatment costs).we don’t arrange or sell insurance.

Tea house Local lodge during the Trek:

All accommodations for Ghorepani-Poon hill Trek are on twin sharing basis included in the trip cost and are chosen based on standard of hygiene, standard and clean of tourist standard available. There are mostly shame styles of accommodations during our trekking. And very some of place has limits of Attach bath room as your own payment. All the lodging and meal cost has controlled by management community at in area.

Meals and Water:

During our Trek, we can enjoy typical Nepali food, different ethnic cuisines as well as all types of international cuisine (Tibetan, Continental, Italian, and Indian.) are from the menu as per local supplement. Lodge has well trained cook basically attention for clean, hygienic, fresh and nice testy foods. We can even enjoy hot chocolates, variety of breads, variety of drinks, and snacks. You could have able to buy Bottled water from every settlement. Even we would like to support you to pay for local purifying water cheaper with that’s help to controlled plastic pollution. Also the boiled water, or running fresh water with your peals or filtering is much recommended.

What to bring with you:

Raincoat, bag cover, round sun hat. Half paint for rain, waterproof waking boot, Suntan lotion, sunglass, light waterproof gore tax set, a pair of sleepers, some t-shirt, If you have your private light sleeping bag/If Not we will provide, walking stick, your regular drug and necessary you things.

The Annapurna region is stunningly beautiful, but equally fragile. Future generations have just as much of a right to appreciate it as we do. Hence, the tourism industry has an obligation to protect and preserve it. We are consideration a ‘zero impact’ policy on the natural environment and the traditional communities that live at the traveled places. We enforce a number of do’s and don’ts. We also work alongside “KEEP” in order to maintain our environmental concerns.

Best Season: We are Sure Ghorepani-Poon hill trek for all Season. Even Sep to Dec and Feb to Apr is best.

Booking Policy:

Confirm your trip at least two months before, with 25% of payment and a copy of your passport. One group leader or agent will be free of service charge above 12 of paying person in a group.[tax, flight and monuments fee is not free.
