Makalu-Base-Camp

Makalu is the fifth highest peak of the world 8,485 meters (27,838 ft).  Makalu is the neighbor of Mt. Everest which lies in the northeast part of Nepal. The Makalu base camp trek Nepal will lead to the beautiful region of Makalu Mountain through the trekking trail of Makalu Barun national park. It is also one of the remote trekking areas of Nepal which will offer us many beautiful views of landscapes decorated by beautiful and giant Himalayas along with some green forest. The main attraction of this trekking route is nothing except the Makalu Mountain itself which is standing with its height of 8,485m.  The trekking to this area goes through the high altitude from where every trekker can enjoy the most panoramic view of snow-capped mountains with the untiring presence of nature. The trekking to these highlands is generally moderate to hard. The season of September to December and March to June is considered as the best season of trekking at this region but according to the desire of trekkers, A One Nepal Trek is arranging trekking at Makalu base camp from several years.

The trekking to the base camp of Makalu Mountain will begin from Kathmandu with a flight over to Tumlingtar from Kathmandu and then to Mane Bhanjyang. The trail will follow the way to Khandbari, Chichira, Num, Seduwa, Tashigaon, Khongma, Nghe Kharka and Shersong to the base camp of Makalu Mountain. Due to the isolation and remoteness of Makalu base camp trekking route, the route is still unexplored and an adventurous trekking route of Nepal.
