Muktinath Jomsom Trek
Muktinath Jomsom Trek is situated at the northern part beautiful valley Pokhara. The trekking goes towards the holy temple of Vishnu, Muktinath, so we can call this trekking as pilgrimage trekking also. The maximum altitude of this trekking is 3800m above sea level. The trekking to Muktinath Jomsom is considered as one of the best trekking route as we can view the forest of red rhododendron along with the desert area of the Mustang.
The trail follows Kali Gandaki River. We can view numerous numbers of mountains while trekking at this region. Mainly the spectacular view of two mountains namely Annapurna and Dhaulagiriwill attract many trekkers. The major attractions point of Jomsom Muktinath trekking is the typical villages of Tukuche, Marpha, Jharkot and Ghandruk village from where the visitors are offered with panoramic view of mountains along with the charming behavior of local people. This trekking route is designed for those trekkers who have problem with high altitudes but has extreme passion regarding trekking at Nepal. While trekking at this region one can get the opportunity of interacting with the local people to know more about the region and their lifestyles and traditions. Generally, the time between March to May and September to November is regarded as best season to trek at this region. But, as per the wish of the trekkers, A One Nepal Trek has organized a whole year round trekking at this region.
Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu
After landing the flight at TIA, we will warmly receive by the representative of A One Nepal Trek and will move towards the hotel arranged by the agency. We will enjoy delicious dinner at night with a brief description of the upcoming trekking program toAnnapurna region trekking.
Day 02: Kathmandu to Pokhara
Early morning, we will have a fresh breakfast at the hotel room at Kathmandu. After having the breakfast, we will pack some important luggage and will drive towards Pokhara. The way goes through the Prithivi highway glimpsing the most panoramic view all around us. We can enjoy the leisure time at Pokhara visiting the beautiful lakes, caves, forest, temples and Mountain View point.
Day 03: Pokhara to Nayapul and then Tikhedhunga
At Pokhara, we will wake up early in the morning with the beautiful rising sun. From Pokhara, we will take a jeep or taxi to reach at Nayapul. The drive goes for 43 kilometers viewing the scenic beauty around the road. After getting off the bus, we will trek further towards Tikhedhunga. At night we will be at one of the lodges at Tikhedhunga.
Day 04: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani
From Tikhedhunga, we need to pass the nearby suspension bridge along with dazzling waterfalls. After a climb of about half hour, we will be at Ulleri, a Magar village. Continuing our journey will ultimately lead us at Ghorepani at the altitude of 2870m. The trekking route goes for about 6 hours. We will stay the night at Ghorepani at one of the beat lodges.
Day 05: Ghorepani to Tatopani
We will start the day with a early morning breakfast viewing the panoramic view of sun rising between the white mountains. Then we marched ourselves towards the Tatopani where we may enjoy the hot natural spring water. We will spend the leisure time at Tatopani visiting the local market. At night a local lodges will be there to take rest at the altitude of 1190m.
Day 06: Tatopani to Ghasa
At Tatopani, we will wake up early in the morning to take bath at the hot natural spring water. It is believed that the bath on this natural hot water will cure so many diseases. After having the breakfast, we will move towards the Kali Gandaki River. Continuing the main route will ultimately lead us towards Ghasa at 2100m. The Ghasa is regarded as paradise for bird viewers.
Day 07: Ghasa to Marpha
From Ghasa, we will resume our journey with a slight climb over to Lete. The trail goes forwards for Larjung village. After crossing the Tukuche from Larjung we will be ultimately at Marpha village with a short walk. The trekking route is about 4 to 5 hours long. Marpha village is situated at the altitude of 2680m.
Day 08: Marpha to Kagbeni
We can enjoy the delicious apple at Marpha to boost up for further journey towards Kagbeni. We should start the journey as early as possible as strong wind used to blow in afternoon at Jomsom. We should continue our journey following the Kali Gandaki river for about 4 to 5 hours to reach at Kagbeni. We will stay the night there.
Day 09: Kagbeni to Muktinath
After spending a splendid night at kagbeni, we will be graceful to continue our journey right above us. The way goes steeply through the main trail to Khingar at 3200m and then to Jharkot village. Continuing our journey for little onward will be enough for us to reach at Muktinath at 3800m.
Day 10: Muktinath to Jomsom
Early morning we will worship the God Vishnu at Muktinath and will pray for our successful trekking. After the worship, we will be served by the local breakfast which will encourage us to move onward to Jomsom. The trail is same as we have moved up where the glancing of mountain will be more joyful with a delighted heart.
Day 11: Jomsom to Pokhara and to Kathmandu
From Jomsom, we need to fly over to Pokhara. The flight is about 30 to 35 minutes long. After the short flight we can visit Pokhara for a while before having lunch. After lunch, the journey continues towards Kathmandu by bus or private vehicle. The night will be delighted and resting at Kathmandu.
Day 12: Farewell
After having a resting night at Kathmandu, we will pack our luggage to march ourselves towards the international airport of Nepal. We have to reach at airport 3 hours before the flight. We will attend a small farewell program organized by A One Nepal Trek. After then we will catch the flight to return back to the home country. We hope, while returning back to home country you will think for a re visit to Nepal. We hope for your better journey.

Safety – Health- facility:
Our first goal is “first safety” for all of our clients and staff. We have smartly experienced friendly and knowledge able workers team. All they are well trained and must of they are license holder Guides. We arrange first aid. Also the area has heath post on every 2 days, and main hospital is not farther than maximum 5 hrs, from any part. We can use a quick drive on ruff road, carry by the people, take a horse ride, and arrange the Helicopter at our needed as per the emergency encase. The physical walk is 6 hours average per day with mini bag with your valued things average 2-5 kg. but 2 days is shorter.

All accommodations for Ghorepani-Poon hill Trek are on twin sharing basis included in the trip cost and are chosen based on standard of hygiene, standard and clean of tourist standard available. There are mostly shame styles of accommodations during our trekking. And very some of place has limits of Attach bath room as your own payment. All the lodging and meal cost has controlled by management community at in area.
Meals and Water:
During our Trek, we can enjoy typical Nepali food, different ethnic cuisines as well as all types of international cuisine (Tibetan, Continental, Italian, and Indian.) are from the menu as per local supplement. Lodge has well trained cook basically attention for clean, hygienic, fresh and nice testy foods. We can even enjoy hot chocolates, variety of breads, variety of drinks, and snacks. You could have able to buy Bottled water from every settlement. Even we would like to support you to pay for local purifying water cheaper with that’s help to controlled plastic pollution. Also the boiled water, or running fresh water with your peals or filtering is much recommended.
