Langtang – Ganjala pass– Helambu trek is one of the popular trekking routes of Nepal. This trekking route offers its visitors with the splendidly beautiful mountains like Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, Dorje Lakpa, Yala Peak, Naya Kanga and Gaurishankar along with the beautiful glaciers and peaks. The trekking to Langtang Ganjala pass and Helambu will help its visitors to gain some adventurous trekking experience.  The main trekking route goes through the forest of rhododendron. If we are visiting at the spring season, then we can have a great view of red rhododendron blooming all over the forest. Our trek goes through Langtang to Helambu passing the Ganjala passes.

The Langtang Ganjala Pass Trek starts from a drive to Syabrubesi and will ultimately ends at Melamchi Pul bazaar. Form Syabru, we will follow the path to the Langtang village following the Khyanjin Gompa. Then after we need to pass Ganjala pass to enter into the Langtang Ganjala pass Helambu trek area. The trekking route goes for a long way without the facility of hotels and lodges, so, we need to carry essential things while trekking at this area. We will find many monasteries of Buddhist during the way to Melamchi bazaar.

The trekking to Langtang- Ganjala passes- Helambu trekking region will be much more adventurous if we have a better guide and experts help about the trek. We need to trek through the forest without having facility of lodging and fooding. So, we need to be well prepared with the essential commodity while trekking. Details Intinerary

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu

After getting in the plane from the domestic plane, we will be landed at TIA. We can get many banner of welcome to Nepal there where everyone will be busy receiving the visitors. A representative of A Nepal Trek will warmly receive us and will guided towards the hotel room. The night will be enchanting at Kathmandu.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Syaprubesi

Early morning with breakfast, we will move towards the bus stop to catch the bus to Syabrubesi. We will pass through the small cities of Nepal. We will stop at Dhunche for lunch and will the way following the Trisuli River to Syabrubesi. The total driving hour is about 7 to 8 hours long. The night will be funny at Syabrubesi.

Day 03: Syabrubesi to lama hotel

Our process of trekking starts from Syabrubesi as we trek towards the lama hotel crossing the Bridge of Trisuli River. The way goes interestingly through the forest of rhododendron and bamboo. The total trekking hour of this day is 2640m. The night will be at Lama Hotel.

Day 04: Lama Hotel to Langtang village

After spending a fantastic night at Lama Hotel, we will further continue the trek following the path to Langtang village. The way goes through the rhododendron forest and through the sloppy hill. The trekking route will offers us view of mountains such as Langtang Lirung, Naya Kang and other several peaks. From lama hotel, it takes about 4 to 5 hours trekking. The Langtang is a beautiful Tamang village at the altitude of 3340m.

Day 05: Langtang village to Khyanjin Gompa

From Langtang village, we will continue our journey after having the breakfast. Or trek leads us towards the Khyanjin Gompa to the height of 3860m. The trail from Langtang village to Khyanjin Gompa is easier than of higher part. At Khyanjin Gompa, we can see a cheese factory. The night will be at Khyanjin Gompa.

Day 06: Khyanjin Gompa rest day

We will be at Khyanjin Gompa during late night, so we take a day as rest at Khyanjin Gompa to explore around the beautiful area. But we can have a short hike over to Khyanjin Ri, Tsergo Ri and around Langshisa kharka. But at night we should be at the same place to spend the night.

Day 07: Trek to Ngegang

From Khyanjin Gompa, the settlement of people gradually disappears. The trail goes to the high Himalayas. We can see less number of vegetation with altitude. The trek to Ngegang is comparatively easier trek for about 4 to 5 hours. We will have the scenery of glittering mountains for about 4 to 5 hours. The night will be at tented camp.

Day 08: Trek Ngegang to Keldang via Ganjala pass

The trekking route from Ngegang to Keldang is generally regarded as difficult trekking route as it goes through the Ganjala pass at the altitude of 5122m.  While trekking at this area, we need to be well equipped with the necessary things. The day will be a walking day for about 8 to 9 hours. After crossing the Ganjala pass the path goes through the small stream to Keldang at 4280m.

Day 09: Trek Keldang to Dokpu

From Keldang, leaving the picture of great Himalayas to our back, we move towards the Dokpu following the pasture lands and grass lands. At some portion of this trek the visitors will be rewarded with the view of sparkling mountains all around us. The Dokpu is the summer settlement of villagers of Helambu. We will camp inside the forest for the night at 4080m.

Day 10: Trek Dokpu to Tarkeghyang

From Dokpu the trail descends towards the Tarkeghyang for about 200mand then a climb up to the pass of 4100m. From the pass, e can get the spectacular view of several mountains through our naked eyes. The total trekking hour goes for about 5 to 6 hours. The Tarkegyang is at the height of 2560m.

Day 11: Trek to Tarkegyang to Sermathang

Early morning, we will continue our journey towards the Sermathang which goes quiet easily through the beautiful and flat path. The trail goes through the forest to the beautiful villages of Helambu region. The trail goes through the beautiful Sherpa villages of Gangyul. We will continue our way towards the Sermathang for about 4 to 5 hours to the height of 2610m.

Day 12: Sermathang to Melamchi bazaar

After having the breakfast at Sermathang, we will gradually descend towards the Melamchi Pul bazaar following the meadows and cultivated areas. We need to pass through the traditional villages interacting with the local and friendly people. The road passes through the beautiful streams, forest and local settlements which will takes about 2 to 3 hours for us to reach at Melamchi Pul bazaar. From Melamchi, we will catch a local bus to Kathmandu to a hotel room.

Day 13: Farewell

Now the time to say good bye has come. Leaving all the beautiful sceneries and glittering mountains, we will move towards the airport carrying our luggage and memories’ of this exhilarating journey. After attending the farewell program organized by A One Nepal Trek, we will get in the flight for our home country.

Safety – Health- facility:

Our first goal is “first safety” for all of our clients and staff. We have smartly experienced friendly and knowledge able workers team. All they are well trained and must of they are license holder Guides. We arrange first aid. Also the area has heath post on every 2 days, and main hospital is not farther than maximum 5 hrs, from any part. We can use a quick drive on ruff road, carry by the people, take a horse ride, and arrange the Helicopter at our needed as per the emergency encase. The physical walk is 6 hours average per day with mini bag with your valued things average 2-5 kg. but 2 days is shorter.

Your Personal Travel Insurance:

We highly advised you to make your travel insurance during Nepal trip from your own country. It is a condition upon joining any of our trips that all clients be insured for comprehensive expenses that might incur due to medical issues or accidents (this includes air ambulance, helicopter rescue, and treatment costs).we don’t arrange or sell insurance.

Tea house Local lodge during the Trek:

All accommodations for Langtang Trek are on twin sharing basis included in the trip cost and are chosen based on standard of hygiene, standard and clean of tourist standard available. There are mostly shame styles of accommodations during our trekking. And 3 nights Tent Camp Trek during the Pass. All the lodging and meal cost has controlled by management community at in area.

Meals and Water:

During our Trek, we can enjoy typical Nepali food, different ethnic cuisines as well as all types of international cuisine (Tibetan, Continental, Italian, and Indian.) are from the menu as per local supplement. Lodge has well trained cook basically attention for clean, hygienic, fresh and nice testy foods. We can even enjoy hot chocolates, variety of breads, variety of drinks, and snacks. You could have able to buy Bottled water from every settlement. Even we would like to support you to pay for local purifying water cheaper with that’s help to controlled plastic pollution. Also the boiled water, or running fresh water with your peals or filtering is much recommended.

What to bring with you:

Raincoat, bag cover, round sun hat. Half paint for rain, waterproof waking boot, Suntan lotion, sunglass, light waterproof gore tax set, a pair of sleepers, some t-shirt, If you have your private light sleeping bag/If Not we will provide, walking stick, your regular drug and necessary you things.

The Langtang region is stunningly beautiful, but equally fragile. Future generations have just as much of a right to appreciate it as we do. Hence, the tourism industry has an obligation to protect and preserve it. We are consideration a ‘zero impact’ policy on the natural environment and the traditional communities that live at the traveled places. We enforce a number of do’s and don’ts. We also work alongside “KEEP” in order to maintain our environmental concerns.

Best Season:

We are Sure Ghorepani-Poon hill trek for all Season. Even Sep to Dec and Feb to Apr is best.
