Annapurna Base Camp Trekking

Trekking Annapurna Base Camp – 14 days of scenic splendor

Any of the perspectives from the swirling misty mountains of the Annapurnas will take your breath away, but an almost 2 weeks venture to Annapurna’s Base Camp reveals breathtaking angles you’ll probably never ever forget. This is what makes Annapurna base camp trekking a prime hotspot for scenic adventure in landlocked Nepal. As you turn south, toward the range that make up the series of the Annapurna giants, there, with much fanfare, is a ridgeline that makes up a myriad of classic mountain beauty you would ever behold in a whole lifetime…

This is also an epic route which takes us into the high alpine areas of the Annapurna region. The well marked trails through the mountain displays before us great views of towering summits that include the likes of: Annapurna I(8091m), Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, Machhapuchhre and many more elevated white snowcapped mountains that stir our emotions to the core. Our trails cut across green grassy highlands and terraced fields, flowing forest of rich colorful rhododendron and gorgeous traditional villages sitting pretty amidst stunning landscapes that send our emotions on overdrive. Trekking in this region generally undertakes high altitudes where we experience extreme thin air which may give way to some minor problems for some hikers, but this can be easily overcome with some good rest in-between our hikes; hence, we need to be cautious through some good acclimatizing & breathing space while trekking in this zone.

Overall, the best seasons to trek to ABC would be in early autumn and early spring i.e. October through January & February through May, it’s pleasant on the body between these months for hikes in alpine territory such as the Annapurna region. But then some trekkers’ plan their trips to this region anytime of the year, should this happen, A One Nepal Trek organizes trekking to these upper reaches throughout the year by providing professional guides who are familiar with the lay of the land. Annapurna base camp trek commences with a lovely cruise from Kathmandu to Pokhara. The drive extends up to Nayapul. It’s after Nayapul, from where the actual trek begins as we start to relish the beauty of the mid-hills in this region & its lovely rural beauty. The trails will go through the famous routes of Ghorepani, Poon hill, Tadapani, Sinuwa, Deurali and finally to the base camp of the Annapurna Mountains. This journey will no doubt be majestic & true to what it offers in terms of hiking through the sublime lowlands as we clamber on to levels above the timberlands into alpine territory as we view some breathtaking landscapes & massive peaks that thrill us to the core of our beings…A One Nepal Trek will escort you to areas that most would just pass by in our journey to the Annapurna Base Camp…

Annapurna Base Camp sanctuary boasts of vibrant views without anything blocking panoramas of the 360 degrees sights.
